1. Introduction
The article focuses on the impact of project delivery methods that would be made with
the help of distinctive procedures for the management of the processes based on design and
construction. Based on the discussions of Carpenter and Bausman (2016), the best form of
procurement methods and efficient contract management strategies for the construction in
schools are analysed. The article also focused on a particular method, which is responsible for
producing best form of quality of service and high levels of product.
2. Discussion
The discussion focuses on the various construction projects, which are subjected to an
extensive form of complex risks and issues. There are a vast number of parties involved during
the process of construction projects performed in schools. The project delivery methods also
known as comprehensive management systems have majorly been developed for the purpose of
reducing the risks occurring over projects. The risks made over projects could be reduced after
the assigning of contractual responsibilities to the people who would be involved within the
construction and design process over any project.
The article discusses on the widely used project delivery method, which is used on
construction projects. It is known as Design-Bid-Build (DBB) method. From the understanding
of the readings on the article, it can be understood that in order to offer the promise for better
performance on the projects, the involvement of dedicated stakeholders would be considered as
highly important. In case of construction projects focused on schools, the involvement of public
school administrators and district managers would act as facility owners. They would be further

which would be further linked with the working knowledge for the factors. These factors would
affect the construction in schools and help decision makers for making constructive decisions.
The article discusses the DBB method and defines the characteristics of this method that
could be helpful for the management of construction project focused on schools. The article also
focuses on the discussion over the characteristics over other forms of project delivery methods
that includes Construction Manager at Risk (CM at Risk) and Design-Build (DB). On further
discussion and understanding on the article, the success factors for the project have been
discussed widely. This discussion analyses the fact that the selections over the project delivery
methods are primarily dependent on the philosophies on organizational purchasing and personal
experiences.
In the current article under discussion, a limitation has been put under the research based
on a direct comparison over the presentation of the various methods of project delivery, which
are used during performing construction in schools. A certain lack of precise information and
data based on the cost, scope and schedule for the construction projects of schools have resulted
in lacking processes and inefficiencies in decision-making. From the data collected and analysed
over the different project delivery methods, it can be discussed that these approaches that are
used in South Carolina and North Carolina resemble the population of the state. Different
districts in Georgia employ the use of DBB. However, districts in Florida mostly make use of
CM at Risk Method. The article further analyses different data over schedule performance,

quality performance findings and cost performance findings. These findings further help in
understanding the impact of the proposed DBB method for managing the project delivery aspects
for construction in schools.
3. Conclusion
From the understanding of the article, it can be analysed and concluded that the use of
project delivery methods can have a better impact over the construction projects being used in
schools. With the help of this method, project managers and contract managers would have a
better view over the project outcomes and manage each and every aspect of the concerned
project in an efficient manner. In the concluding part of the article, the authors have focused on
the impact of different methods of project delivery over the use of construction. Thus, these
methods would also have a major impact over the quality of service made from the construction
and also help towards the improvement of performances.
