Part A
Initial post
Change management is a vital component of the project management because
it assistances in ensuring that the behavioural outcomes would be obtained and hence work
for ensuring the fact that the goal of the project is met. Change management involves with the
individuals who had been affected by the projects or any other changes that had been
undertaken within the project. Change management is a vital portion of project management
because almost all the project undergoes changes, these changes might be maximum or
minimum, and hence the management of changes is very important in order to have a control
of them such that they do not result in affect the project in a negative manner. Change
management mostly contributes in changing the organizational culture or mode of operation
is changed (Hayes, 2018). Change management is taken place in order to carry out a certain
project in an effective manner. The processes or strategies that would be the best for
analysing the changes along with performing the change request on the project provided in
the case study include evaluating the change for numerous benefits as well as risks, every
stakeholder tangled in the project of Robert L. Frank Construction Company must be kept in
loop for the purpose of avoiding any sort of ambiguities which had been faced by the project
(Pugh, 2016). If the stakeholders are keep informed regarding the changes that would be
taken place and before making request for the changes they would inform regarding any sort
of changes that they have been expecting from the project or any change which would help
the project in being more beneficial for the organization. Some more ways that could be used
in the project of Robert L. Frank Construction Company include prioritizing the changes that
had to be undertaken within the project. This is because the prioritization of changes would

definite categories such that the team would be aware of the changes in a sequential manner
and have an idea of which change would be undertaken next. Previously in numerous projects
I had encountered certain scenarios where I had to make usage of effective tools and methods
for the purpose of carrying out a certain project in an organized manner (Hornstein, 2015).
Some tools and techniques that I have used for staying organized and hence keeping various
professional projects in track include setting the expectations of the project from the
beginning of the project, this had helped me in informing the team members regarding the
objectives of the project and their individual responsibilities towards the project. Defining the
scope is another strategy that I have used, this makes it clear to everyone regarding what is
the project aiming for and help the team members in performing their tasks and keeping the
entire project in track (Doppelt, 2017). The definition of scope consists of numerous
attributes such as deliverables, costs, timeframe, available resources, and stakeholder. Some
more tools and techniques that I have used previously include reviewing the progress of the
changes against the project plan that had been initially made. Some attributes that I have
analysed in this technique include if the tasks had been completed properly and if the project
has access to right resources for completing it. One more technique that has been helpful in
keeping the project organized and in track including meeting frequently. This factor had been
very useful for me because it cleared any sort of clogs in the communication channel and kept
it clear with the team members.
