The article explores the indicators of performance in order to enhance the governance of
projects. The paper begins by stating that the scope of research in the area of project governance,
portfolios and programs. In this regard, the paper stated that the progress of research is
progressing rapidly. However the serious or mature nature of research is lacking in this particular
sphere. Generally most of the research in this area focuses on the two approaches. Of them, the
first approach relates to the governance of multi farm projects while the second project focuses
on the corporate project governance. Thus the addressing area of the paper is the reporting and
the disclosure components of governance. This area falls under the second approach of
governance. The paper precedes the discussion by elaborating on the importance of reporting and
the disclosure components of governance. As stated in the study, the purpose of the reporting and
the disclosure components of governance is to assure the perfect alignment of programs, projects
and portfolio with the objectives of the corporation and the expectation of the stakeholders. The
paper suggests that the controlling system of performance indicator of the organization’s project
must give information that is reliable. The information needs to reliable because the different
levels of governance require this information to govern the projects effectively. The different
levels of governance comprise executive board level, contextual level and the individual project
level. Therefore this understandable as well as whole set of indicators of performance over the
life cycle of project is essential as a most important part aspect in order to analyze and then
improve the structure puff governance, principles, ditties and policies which are applied to the
programs, portfolios and the projects. Thus the paper stated that the study is an interim result of a
research which is in progress. The aim of the paper is to analyze the relevance’s of the several

contract types of projects influences the above mentioned aspect of perception.

governance and its role indicates the responsibilities and liabilities of the personnel who work
with the arrangements of decision making. As per the book’s opinion, project governance is the
most integral part of the delivery of project. The author of the book explored an unworkable as
well as complex set of connection between different comities, executives and boards. The
exploration is done without any clear as well as logical arrangements of project governance. The
discussion of the book is based on an organization. Thus, the book stated that the author had
offered an investigation in this area as the company possessed a huge as well as increasing
program of capital work and also because the author had the acquaintance in order to create
