1. Introduction outlining the project purpose
This report depicts the importance of developing proper project initiation, planning and
execution plan so that any project could be implemented within the estimated budget and cost as
well. The purpose of the report is to develop the project initiation, planning and execution
details. However, the main purpose is to develop a proper project initiation, planning and
execution plan for Jeff and Kelly so that could implement their shifting plan successfully within
estimated time phase. The date of Jeff’s joining was decided to be 5th February thus they have to
shift to their new flat before 5th February. They have decided to complete their entire shifting
within 28th January.
In order to accomplish the shifting project the project head should divide the activities
according to the project requirement. The phases those are needed to be maintained by the
project manager include project initiation, planning and execution. In the initial phase Jeff and
Kelly have decided certain activities, however in order to accomplish the entire shifting it is
necessary to modify some of the activities. The need for project schedule changes and the
updated or revised milestone are also elaborated in this report.

I have realized that the time estimated for the house shifting is very limited and within
that limited time phase it is difficult to accomplish the entire task securely. Before planning and
implementing the project the project activities are needed to be understood accurately by Kelly
and Jeff. For this particular project triple project constraints have been selected including time,
budget and scope. They should leave their current house within 20th January and must complete
the shift within 27th January. On the other hand the total budget estimated for the project is
$5000. I have also learned that, based on the project budget, some of the project activities are
needed to be modified rather should be done simultaneously.

From the overall discussion it can be concluded that, in order to accomplish the shifting
