Work breakdown structure (WBS): This is the process of breaking a large task into a number of
smaller tasks so that work process at different stages of the projects can be monitored and the
required improvements can be initiated.
Difference between a work package and a project activity: Work package is the lowest level of
work breakdown structure. ‘Activities’ are the tasks which need to be accomplished inside
these work packages. These activities need to be completed within the agreed time duration.
Project stakeholders: Stakeholders are individuals or a group of people who are going to be
affected by the on-going project and it is necessary to inform all these stakeholders and know
their concerns related to the project.
Project management risk plan: No matter how accurately the things are planned, every project
has some risks associated with it and analysing all these risks in advance helps in dealing with
unexpected problems encountered during the project.
