Reflect on the team’s decision-making process for selecting the proposal to be used for

The decision-making process of the team for selecting the proposal to be used for Assessment
2, followed the multi-criteria decision-making method for the selection of proposal.
What did you think about the of ideas and the selection criteria the team used to choose this
proposal?
The ideas and the selection criteria the team used to choose this proposal are
 Total potential store of mystery rooms in India
 Ability to evoke interest through communication
 The ability to entertain
 Corporate events
 Escape games
What would you have done differently?
The selection can be done in a more scientific way.
How well was the project designed?
The project was designed with the help of the prudency and the intelligence of the team
members following the proposal and technological and scientific methods of research.
Did you follow the original proposal?
The strategy alliance for the mystery room as described in the original proposal are followed
in case of designing then project.

why?
The costs problem as estimated in the proposal, varies while designing the project.
The concept of sustainability in case of strategy alliance for the mysterious room remained
same as depicted in the secondary research items of the proposal.
What challenges did you face as a team and how did you overcome them?
The challenges faced while carrying on the project and how I overcome them
 Undefined Goals-In the beginning, the progress of the project was not systematic due
to undefined goals and lack of proper planning. All these delayed the project.
 The change of scope- there is a difference between the changes in the scopes as
determined in the proposal and the actual changes in the scopes
 Inadequate Skills for the Project-during the project I have to deal with people related
to the project who lacks the required skills to carry on the project.
 Lack of Accountability- During the project work, I have to face people who lacks
accountability. This created some major obstacles in the progress of the project and
resulted in an increased in the expense. Due the dearth of accountability on the part of
some people related to the project, the project work becomes time consuming.
 Improper Risk Management- As I was looking after the designing part in this project,
I was not able to look after all other spheres like risk management. The risks faced
while carrying on this project were many and due to the lack of risk management
experience of almost all of the members, there were some problems initially. Later,
with the passage of time, everybody gained some experience of risk management and
I received help in the management of the risks from all the members.

 Ambiguous Contingency Plans- Initially there were ambiguity as well as contingency
in the planning process. This is the result of the lack of time given by all the members
including me while formulating plans. Later with the passage of time, we are able to
point out the areas of ambiguity and contingency and make necessary changes to
removeambiguity and contingency.
 Poor Communication- Another challenge faced by me while carrying on the project is
the poor communication as well as miscommunication, lack of understanding. All
these delayed the project work. Later as we are able to find enough time to remove all
the loopholes in the communication process and proceed with the work more
systematically, the gap in the communication is removed.
 Impossible Deadlines-Initially, the stipulated deadline for the project seemed
impossible to all of us. This fear of missing deadline made us more nervous initially.
We were not able to focus on the project as we were nervous. Gradually we realise we
need to motivate and unite all the members that they will be able to taketheir
respective responsibilities and the project will be completed within deadline if we
work together as a team and understands each other’s perspective well. In this way
when we are able to boosted up our team spirit, we were able to meet the deadline
which we seemed impossible previously.
 Resource Deprivation- I also faced the deprivation of resources while carrying on the
project. This included dearth in the materials required for the project, interruption in
the internet connection, lack of time and paucity in the management skills, lack of
guidance, dearth in the funds. In spite of all these, I was determined that I would not
stop and overcome all the obstacles with the help of our hard work and intelligence
and of course, common sense. This determination resulted in the successful
completion of the project.

 Lack of experience in the risk management

What strengths and weaknesses did the team exhibit and how did they strengthen or hinder
the project?
A. Strengths exhibited by the team:
 Determination, cooperation to meet the deadline
 Unity, hard work and good understanding between the member which is required to
performed their respective roles perfectly, in the completion of the project.B.
Weaknesses exhibited by the team:
 Due to the lack of systematic approach adopted by the team, the progress of the
project was not systematic This delayed the project.
 Another weakness exhibited by the teamis the poor communication,
miscommunication, lack of understanding. This also delayed the project work.
How would you assess the overall project, including the presentation to management and
management’s response to the project?

The assessment will be done according to the feedback received from the
management.The management persons will be given feedback forms to give their responses
or feedbacks. The feedback form will contain several questions regarding the overall project
and presentation. gradation section, under which they can provides us grade. There will be
remark section too, under which they will be able to provide their remarks
What lessons did you learn through this process? What would you do differently next time
and why?
Next time I will improve my risk management skill, I will be more focused while
formulating plans and defining goals. I will enhance my communication skills, so that no
delay occurs due to improper communication.
