The monitoring of the system is dependent on the evaluation of the products
and the services. It is also concerned about the right happening of the processes
in the system management (Kerzner, 2013). There are various application
system which can be deployed in managing the processes. One of these
application systems are software applications and solutions provided by the
different software companies. These software applications are useful in
evaluating the data and sorting the relevant information in the project
management process (Al-Mamary, Shamsuddin & Abdul Hamid,2013).
However, these tools can also be used in the monitoring of the services and the
process (SEBoK,2018). The accuracy of the application system helps to deliver a
quality process. The quality of the process determines the effectiveness of the
project(Al-Mamary, Shamsuddin & Abdul Hamid,2013). These applications also
help to determine if the progress of the processes and the project is happening
in the right manner.
In a complex project there is chance for the scope creep to happen. The scope
creep of the project refers to the sudden changes in the requirements of the
project. In that case, the processing mechanism of these applications helps the
project environment to cope with the changes (Nejib, Beyer & Yakabovicz,
2017). The sudden changes in the project, in this way may not affect the time
frame allowed for the project and estimated budget for the project.
However, the excessive dependency on the electronic medium and the use of
the system applications may give a negative impact on the project scope(Al-
Mamary, Shamsuddin & Abdul Hamid,2013). There are certain factors which
cannot be managed by the application system. Some of these factors are level of
motivation of the team members of the project, level of understanding between
