AI Summary
This report provides a comparative analysis of five prominent project management methodologies: Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2, ISO, and APM. It begins by highlighting the flexibility of Agile, emphasizing its adaptability to changing requirements and risk mitigation capabilities, while also acknowledging its potential pitfalls if not fully implemented. The report then contrasts Agile with PMBOK, detailing the latter's comprehensive scope and contract management features, while also pointing out its limitations in decision-making processes. PRINCE2 is presented as a methodology that distributes responsibility with senior management, emphasizing its standardized approach and ease of use. The report then discusses ISO, a global standard-setting body that ensures reliability across various business areas, and finally, APM, an industry-formed term for application performance management. The report provides a clear overview of each methodology's strengths and weaknesses, offering valuable insights for project managers and organizations seeking to optimize their project management strategies.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AGILE, PMBOK, PRINCE2, ISO AND
APM:-
Agile:-
It is a more different platform from PMBOK and PRINCE2. This procedure is more
flexible, creating it well capable of making deliverables lacking of the essentiality for
considerable variations and modification (Abrahamsson et al., 2017). Responsibilities can be
divided into smaller phases, and it permits for huge danger discount through former valuation,
analysis and investigation. The leading disadvantage of Agile is that if it is not completely
grappling, the procedure must lead to unachievable prospects.
PMBOK:-
It is the short term for “Project Management Body of Knowledge”. Operators of this
method discover that PMBOK has more extensive outlines for scope management, contract
managing and additional features which are questionably not as much robust in PRINCE2
(Karaman & Kurt, 2015). Conversely, many managers of PMBOK discover that they are not
completely pleased with the technique this structure restrictions choice-making exclusively to
project managers, creating it problematic for managing over features of the administration to
other senior managers. With this method, the project administrator can become the prime choice
maker, developer, and solver and HR manager.
Prince 2:-
These are the project administration program that distributes more of the useful and
monetary consultant with senior management, not just the project executive. This method has

attention to supporting the project executive in supervising projects on behalf of an
administration's senior administration (Tomanek & Klima, 2015). This process also delivers a
particular standard method to the administration projects, which is why several administration
and universal administrations favor this decision. It also prefers because of its comfort of apply,
which creates is easy to study, even for those with incomplete knowledge. On the disadvantage,
specific workers sense that PRINCE2 misses the position of "soft skills" that must be attention
for a project executive.
ISO:-
The International Organization for Standardization is a global standard-setting body
collected of councils from several national values of organizations. It carries together specialists
to distribute information and improve controlled, market applicable Worldwide Standards that
upkeep invention and deliver explanations to global encounters (O’Connor, 2014). ISO
certifications occur in many regions of business, from energy organization and social
accountability to therapeutic devices and energy management. ISO principles are in place to
confirm reliability. Every certification has distinct standards and standards and is classified
mathematically.
APM:-
It is mostly an industry or retailer formed term for anything that has to do with handling
or observing the presentation of user code, application dependencies, business times, and general
user involvements (Chuang, Luor & Lu, 2014). It is an ideal preliminary point for those original
to project management. Any organization that is involved in projects will discover that by having
all workforce in the project atmosphere using and accepting standardized language, effectiveness

and assurance will be significantly enlarged. When project staff recognize communications
undoubtedly, it describes that they can sense valued and part of the information group.
