Project management is defined as the process that is related leading efforts and operations
of team in right direction to attain determined goals and objectives with specific constraints.
There are various primary constraint of project such as scope, time and budget that enable to
perform project task in systematic manner. in this report chosen organisation is Astra Plc that
deals in minerals and vitamins. Organisation has developed an application that concentrate on
youth who suffered from various aspects such as obesity or ineffective time management to
handle the situation of obesity. This assignment is prepared to address scope, success and various
risk that are faced by organisation to performing activities of project.

TASK
Project plan
It is important for the Astra Plc organisation to concentrate on developing effective plan
of project that consists future actions and activities that needs to be done for attaining desirable
outcomes. Respective organisation is planning to develop an application with the objective of
resolving various major problems that are being associated with the project (Richardson, and
Jackson, 2018). There are various steps are taken by organisation to develop an application such
as deciding ideas and research all relevant information, detailing the app, featuring the
application, making carbon copy of app, planning graphic design of app, planning marketing
strategies and submitting app to the store. All these activities are performed for developing
application in systematic manner that resolve all problems in the life of youth. Along with all
these, leaders of project concentrates on accomplishing all project activities withing determined
timeframe. Gantt chart is considered as the best technique to complete set targets of developing
application before timeline.

Project Scope
Astra Plc has developed an application for the customers who are suffering from obesity.
The application “Fitness freak” is capable to resolve all these issues in efficient manner. Google
Play Store and Apple store are the platform on which this application is available and it has own
application as well. Users can get download the application and get its benefits. Through the
application, users can get training from professional gym trainers to get positive outcomes in
specific period of time (Harrison, and Lock, 2017). The application also has IT experts from
which users get quick solutions of their problems. The launch cost of application is 65,000
pounds and organisation arranged funds in the form of bank loan. There is also another feature of
application through users can measure their psychological activities.
Astra Plc uses various social media platforms to advertise application such as Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter and other that enhances popularity and customer base of application. There
are various software are used that facilitates smoother working of application. Organisation
conducts market research to analyse customer’s needs and demands than customize application
accordingly. Before launching it in market, Astra Plc test it among a group of customers to
analyse its effectiveness than launch it in market for sales. Application sales time, effort and
money of customer’s so, they are motivated to purchase it. It enhances application popularity
among customers and improve business sales and profitability.
Project risk
There are various risks are associated in the process of developing application that
impacts on its overall performance and efficiency. It is important for the project leader to
concentrates on risk management approach to deal with various risk and gain competitive
advantages. Project leaders need to evaluate various risk than develop effective strategies to
eliminate them from application (Brewer, and Dittman, 2018). Some major risks that are
associated with the health and fitness application are explained below:
 Cost overrun is the issues that is related to enhancing overall cost of producing
application as compared to estimated cost that creates problem for the overall production
process of application. It can be minimised through effective planning and strategy.
 Delay in application designing of health fitness application because there are various
