A. Introduction
B. The paper aims to understand how the previous study helped in the application of
project management and the lessons that are learned from the last survey. The
experiences that are determined from the previous study are related to the current
Capstone project. A bridge is created between the theoretical knowledge and practical
knowledge which is learned from previous research and the new Capstone project
(Ren & Jia, 2017). It is also determined in the paper that how this study will help in
the future for managing various projects. All the project managing techniques that are
learned from previous studies are explained in the paper. After the explanation of the
lessons that are discovered, a brief idea is given how to relate both of the reviews and
make a bridge among theory and effective practice.
C. A. Project management application and lessons learned
D. It is learned about the idea of project management. In the principles of project
management, certain things are learned. The PMI guidelines are also determined from
here. The lessons that are learned are on managing the process of the project, the
principles of project management. The tools, techniques and process groups are also
learned from the project. It can also be learned about the importance of project
management for an organization (Wu & Hyatt, 2016). The study also helped in
understanding the knowledge of PMBOK. It can also be learned about the process
groups and their role, impact, and relevance in the field of project management. It also
gives a good idea about the techniques to succeed in a project. It is also learned the
way to do WBS and to make a Gantt chart.

and management of project scope can be understood. It helps in identifying the factors
which influence the planning for quality management. The study also applies a
planning tool for quality management. It also involves planning tools quality
management and the techniques for the same. The study also helps to identify all the
components for Project management quality (Cicero, 2019). In this study, various
standards are applied to multiple regulations are also used. Various factors are
identified in a case to influence the planning of resource management. Various
techniques of resource management are applied to the project in the study. The study
also evaluates the way resource management will affect the risk of the project and the
scheduling of the project. Various tools are identified and multiple techniques are
defined for managing the project resource.
G. The study also helps in the execution of the project and to control the project. The
study draw tools and a technique to source the data of the plan (Cober et al., 2015). It
also develops various processes and measures to manage the change, quality, and
scope for the projects that are complex globally. The study also helps to analyze the
risks of the project and also helps in developing the number of strategies that will
manage all the risks for ensuring the outcomes of the project manager that is expected
(Delgado et al., 2015). The study also helps to reflect the project leadership and the
communication skills help to increase the outcome of the project for executing the
plan, control the project and to close all the phases of that project.
H. The study also helps to contract and to procure the project. It helps to learn how to

K. The study also helped in integrating the infrastructure of project management. The
study examines the way the projects of infrastructure will interact along with the
environment and the society (Janicki, Fischetti & Burns, 2016). It also involves
various challenges that are complex that include the management of public
infrastructure of the 21st century which are investigated by multiple factors including
the financial sustainability, impact of the environment and the approach of the
command which are to be explored.
L. B. Bridging theory and practice
M. The project was done by Landless which is known as the Salt River Coal Project
bridges the theory and practice. As the Capstone course teaches to maintain a link
between the theory and practical implementation, the project successfully fulfills the
same. When somebody builds something that is designed by himself it is not sure that
the application will completely stand up or not. So it is always necessary to link the
theory with the practical application. This is the reason the course teaches still to
bridge theory and practice (Lee, Wick & Figueroa 2018). It is not ethical to just make
the design or else to just build the construction. Similarly, in the case of the particular
project, the contractors have successfully created a bridge of theory and practice
which made them eligible to perform the project. As they have gone through the
project course of Capstone, they utilized their previous knowledge including
theoretical knowledge and the practical knowledge after which they went through
various practices that have made them more eligible to perform the project. After their
completion of the project course form Capstone, they became successful to make the
design of their project. After this, they went to several practices which benefitted
them with more practical knowledge. Due to this, the contractors were able to
complete the project with success.
N. Salt River coal project included the following elements during the time of
implementation, firstly they have identified the problems and mentioned the problems
which helped them to increase the awareness in case of the issue and also convinced
to the non-believers that there are actual problems. Secondly, they have made an
action plan where the actions are selected by them to all the stakeholders which
include policymakers, professional organizations, purchasers and others. They have
also appointed a leader for opinion purposes who have supported the program.
Thirdly they have also defined the objectives which are realistic, limit and clear in
order. Fourthly they have reached the consensus among their team members during
the action and their way to achieve the objectives. After this, they have implemented
the program with an approach of multifaceted. Due to this the bulldozer effect is also
avoided that has evoked the resistance (Matveeva & Kholodova, 2018). This is the
method which helped in a case to enhance the awareness and the behavior to that of
the problem which is noticed. After this, the result is also monitored. This is the phase
that is done with the measurement of the rate of compliance along with the local
recommendations. After this, they have followed the frequency of occurrence by
preventing the event. The feedback is also very important all-time though if the
objectives are not achieved.
O. Education is the key which helps to increase the awareness of the problems and also it
provides enough knowledge to counter the issues. The contractors of the Landless
were highly trained and besides having practical experience and practices they also
have theoretical knowledge, which helped them to combat any problem they have
faced during the time of the project. Due to performing the project of Capstone, they
gained more knowledge and practical experience. This is the reason they have ensured

the bridge between the theory and practice in case of the project performed by the
contractors of Capstone named Salt River Coal Project.
P. The bridge between the theory practices is vital, it keeps the balance of the project
properly if there is a gap in between the theory and practice of the project, the safety
of the project decreases and it may lead to significant risk in the project.
Q.
R. C. Capstone Project
S. The project helped to increase the knowledge of the modular construction of the
person. The person has learned the way to implement modular construction (Sarang-
Sieminski & Christianson, 2016). It can be seen that modular construction has
particular beneficiaries as this is effective from cost, it is a fast process and this helps
to create a more efficient development. The knowledge of this construction helps to
speed up the production, helps to perform installations on off-site. It helps in using
eco-friendly materials and this has minimal impacts on the business (Sit haram, 2018).
The practice of this type of construction increases sustainability makes fire resistance,
has good structure and better flexibility.
T. Wood modular construction is a part of modular construction which enhance the
modular construction to a greater extent. Concrete and steel modular construction is
another type of development where the materials used are from recycled materials,
thus this improves the flexibility of the building (Taborda, Liu & Crawford, 2017). It
also follows the BAPO methodology where the Business – Architecture – Process –
Organisation develops a conceptual layout.
U. D. Conclusion
V. The paper concludes that the previous study learned and the capstone project together
will cause a significant impact on managing various projects in the future. As the
earlier studies that are done give proper knowledge about project management. This
knowledge already helps to know multiple concepts of project management (Venom
et al., 2015). This study includes the principles of managing of project, helps to
integrate the project management, planning of project and budgeting of project,
execution of the project and control of the project, also helps to learn contracts and
procurement of project management, also increases the sustainability of the portfolio
of the project and managing the program, also helps to maintain the organizational
behaviour and manage people, besides it also helps to integrate the infrastructure of
the project management. This is the theoretical studies that are learned from the
previous reviews about project management (Vincent, 2018). Later the Capstone
project that is done helps to perform sure practical tasks beside of having theoretical
knowledge, the performing of the possible functions increases the ability of the
person, which not only helps the person to perform a better project also it helped the
person to have a better knowledge to perform best in the future.
