planning of a project is more vigorous and important as for the business to as it helps to get the
systematic result that is more adverse for the completion of the project. It has been used to get
the achievable outcomes by making the effective utilisation of the resources. There are some
different tools that are used to get plan the project and to achieve the better ending these tools are
as Gantt chart, work breakdown structure, PERT Chart, logic networks and many others well.
There are some different benefits of the project management as like it is used to get the
improvise the chances of the result or the probability of getting success, develops the better
prospects, helps to set the prioritise in the business to develop the better strategy for attain the
objectives, measure the standard scope, budget, schedule to imparts more accuracy within the
plan. This report is based on the Captify that is the company that drives the data and it is the
medium sized company that is the specialist in media decision and search intelligence. It was
founded in the year 2011 by Adam Ludwin and Dominic Joseph. This report includes the activity
network diagram that is used to make the optimised outcomes, critical path, ESD, LFD dates,
slack times calculation, Gantt chart that is used to project the timeline. In addition to this there
are some different influence of the customer on the design and development of the products.

The activity network diagram is a diagram that shows the interrelation between the

followed by the business to gin higher advantage (Kerzner, 2018). It has been reflects as the
arrow and the nodes that defines the different activities through which the different activities will
get interlink between the different activities will be showed to measure the better prospect within
the particular period of time. It is used to make the effective pathway by which the Captify will
choose the path that is more certain and used to take the beneficiary result. As from this activity
the accuracy and the précised future outcomes will get noticed through which the Captify gets

the help and they could uses the best applicable channel within the business by which the supply
and demand will get managed with adequate profit and certified sales. It has more beneficiary
outcomes that is useful for the business as in this they could uses the specified path from where
they get more profit in scalable manner (Gemünden, 2018).
It is the tools that are used to draw the map that is more relative with the task and the
activities that are performed within the business in chronological manner. It is the tool that
defines the different activities as per the task and the groups that has huge impact on the
development of the project and it is more important for the business. The major purpose to get
develop this activity network diagram is to build and make the graphical representation that is

balanced and it imparts the suitable activity that is used to gain more profit and elevated future
sales.
3.3 Gantt chart for project timeline
Gantt chart: It is the chart that is used to gain the better knowledge of each and every
activity by which the company will get the beneficiary outcomes. It is the acronym of
Generalised activity normalisation time table through which the standardise outcomes will get
facilitate for supportive effort (Fleming, 2019). It is a type of chart that describes about the
complete schedule of the project. It is a chart that is proposed by Henry Gantt in the year 1910-
1915 and it shows the interdependency between the different activities and current schedule of
the project. It is a horizontal bar chart that is used for graphical illustration and it furthermore
helps to make the better plan with more coordination to get track the specified the adequate chart

of the particular project. There are some main features of Gantt chart that are as defined below
as:
 The timeline bar will represent the adequate time schedule, relationship and the progress
information about each activity that is performed within the accomplishment of project.
 The Gantt bar reflects the activity time duration and defines the critical task as it includes
the starting and the ending time of the overall activity.
 The current date line shows the time line of particular project that is more appropriate and

The change in taste and preference of the customers affects the operations of the company
and due to which they have to bring changes in their products. The company Captify offers
various technologically advanced products and services to their customers in which they have to
develop the products as per the requirement of the products and services. Due to the
specifications of the customer the process which is generally adopted by the companies may
change as they have o adopt new technology for providing the desired products by the customers.
The competition is increasing with increasing number of small and medium sized companies

offering similar products and services. Due to this the customers bargain with the companies
over the prices as they have various options to get their products developed but for the
companies it is important to retain their customer. This leads them to reduce their prices of the
goods and services. Along with this they compare the services on the basis of the delivery dates
as they required their products to be delivered as soon as possible. All the factors influence the
operations of the companies as to ensure this they have to develop new critical path to complete
the process in earliest possible time. The prices at which they have to sell their products depend
upon the salary that they have to pay to the engineers of the company, the cost of the material
that is being used in developing the product and services. With the changing technology and
requirement of the material it increase cost of the products and thus it shrinks the profitability of
the company as their total cost increases but sales prices remains competitive. To manage it
efficiently Captify need to enter into the agreement with the suppliers for a longer run or they
can purchase in a bulk as it will enhance their ability to bargain with the suppliers. While for
managing the cost of labour they can consider the policy of fixed and variable pay as in this a
fixed amount will be payable to the employee and then they will be paid on their performance
basis (Fangel, 2018).
CONCLUSION
It is concluded from the above report that the companies need to adopt various technology
and network diagrams in order to determine various path with the help of which they can identify
shortest path of developing the product and that will ensure their timely delivery. Along with this
the Gantt chart is prepared so that they can determine the sequence of the activities as it reduces
the chance of the redundancy of the activities. Apart from this the influence of the customer are
analysed as it is important for each and every organisation. They have ability to influence the
operations and cost of the company as they compare the services offered by other with that of the
company.
