It has been seen that project managers spend maximum time in developing plan for the
team about there working chart. Plenty of parties those are associated with this plan such as
sponsors, stakeholders and other group those are spending lot of their valuable time in making
changes to attain their aims and objectives. According to the mention case of developing an
action plan for their respective areas for the purpose of developing “Rehab service medical”.
Every team member met with their concern department people to get assistance and determine
their requirements.
In order to estimate valuable outcomes collected from everyone those are involve in a
team which is been called by the CFO(Chief financial officer). They help in determining the
budgets for their action plan. CFO had asked to validate total estimates of costs and revenues
from facility operations, project earnings and return on investments(ROI). To handled the
projects a new consultant had been hired by the CFO known as Dr. Sara Sharf because she is
having total five year of experiences in formulating business plans for making assisted living
facilities. They have looked at what needed to be included in the facility to meet demand of their
targeted populations. After gathering crucial information additional sites visits of facilities and
meeting with chosen construction contractor they has finalised the layout of units and space areas
which would be included into the design. The project manager requested and retain an action
plan and estimate total cost from construction contractors.
The total costs probably required to run a project needed as $70 per square foot with
standard deviation of $3.67. The most important functions of a project managers is to remove
uncontrollable modification. A change is one of the triple constraints of a projects that has a
huge impacts on various factors over other components. They major key aspects is to identify
need to manage scope of a project in accordance with the agreed requirements, costs and plan
schedule. The stakeholders are determine earlier in a project and their interest, expectation and
significant that are valuable in a project plan. Various stakeholder have different interest,
behaviour and value. Effective communication can ensure that they can retain information that is
more relevant to their crucial needs and develop positive attitudes to a project.
The project status require to be track and monitor effectively by using effective tools and
techniques. Project manager must ensure that it would get accomplish by using timely and

effective collection of outcomes. They should follow ethics during formal communication in a
project planning. Every managers need to use law of success which is:

Effective communication consists of a well planned infrastructure and processes,
messages and documents. These are use as positive exchange of data among project stakeholder
and maintain aligned with the project aims and objectives. Communication management required
to plan during the initial phase of a project. It consists of analysing information and basic
requirements of the stakeholder. A communication process is a set of steps that are requires to be
adopted for every projects in an organisation. It can be undertaken as a effective part in a project
life cycle.
PART B:
Project management plan is an essential aspects of any concept which is formal
approaches which is uses to manage a project execution. The documents that are required to
make vital action for setting up new Rehab service medical. The medical Director felt to
purchased too many costly equipments which was not vital for the project. The plan was framed
at the meeting of board of trustees. The facilities would be set up as a profit subsidiary of the
medical centre so that it can generate a profit and not to be subjected to the strict rules of hospital
recognise agencies. The board was assured that all the facilities need to be meet the planning
initiative of increasing businesses. The project plan is an immediate enhancement in the total
number of referrals to the outpatient therapy program.
Project goals and objectives
St. Dismas Medical Centre is one of the urban non profit rehabilitation hospital which is
having the capacity of 450 beds. The management of hospital noticed that there is decline in
admission of patients. To overcome from this situation there is need to adopt different strategies
and approaches which helps in improvement of their current services. The major goals and
objectives which are decided by management is mentioned below:
Need to focus on inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation of the severely injured and
catastrophically ill patients.
Short term goal of rehabilitation centre includes about cost effectiveness in the delivery
of inpatient care.

The project main focuses on the delivering better facilities and services to the patients in
the form of effective rehab medical services. This will assists patient census which were varied
from every coming month. In order to search better ways or techniques to deliver better
understanding of several facilities across the nation. The selected team has interviewed plenty of
companies that would overlook the design, building and making operation of the facility. It is an
effective part of project planning that consists of identifying a complete lists of specific project
aims and ultimately costs. It consists of various aspects those are been mention underneath:
Collect essential requirements: Under this phase, the process by which various aspects
those are crucial for the purpose of planning a new projects. The foundation of this steps
is related with formulation of better rehab service medical which would provide support
to patient.
Define scope: To formulate better service delivery to the patient that are not having
ability or normal thinking powers. The primary scope of this projects is to focuses on
inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation of various injured and catastrophically ill people.
Formulate WBS: It is the perfect techniques which is helpful in dividing a project plan
into various sub task. This is done to reduce extra costs and time which is affecting the
productivity of an organisation. The hospital's market researchers to make reported that
very fewer people need to carry their task in effective manner in order to accomplish their
task on time.

It is effective structure which helps in breakdown of project into smaller components.
This structure is also known as contract work-breakdown structure. The main function of this
structure is to organise team work into manageable actions. It is considered as hierarchical
decomposition of the total work which is provided by rehabilitation centre in accomplishment of
their different goals and objectives. These structures includes the different elements product, data
and service.

This method helps in determination of the time period which is required regarding the
