b. Process groups
c. The life cycle of the project.
One change that can introduce changes in the different aspects of the business operations is
continuous improvement. Continuous improvement has many benefits. The analysis of
continuous improvement is given below:
Project management plan: Continuous improvement can have a major impact on the
project management plan. The company can make use of the best practice to have
continuous improvement in the project management plan. The project managers can
have regular consultation about the implementation, maintenance and execution of the
project. This can also lead to the transfer of the important knowledge of project
management. Differentiation between project and programs can also lead to continuous
improvement in the project. The resistance management system can also prove to be
beneficial for the project (Al Ahbabi & Alshawi, 2015).
Process groups: Process group is a group of two or more processes that are required to
complete the project. Internalized project management can be used for continuous
improvements in the process groups. The engineers are required to develop special
competencies in the process areas so that an in house project management discipline can
be built.
Project life cycle: the Life cycle of the project is important to be continuously improved
so that the project carried out in a successful manner. For continuous improvement in

the project life cycle, training and development of the employees are very important.
Formal control systems can have a check on each stage of the project life cycle. This
will help in the identification of loopholes in the project life cycle. The identification can
lead to corrective actions and will ultimately lead to continuous improvement
(Radujković & Sjekavica, 2017).
