Question 1:
Project management offers wide range of knowledge that is used for the purpose of
successfully executing a project. Global project management is referred to the application of
project management practices that are used for the purpose of organizing the stakeholders
associated with the project across the different geographical regions. Project management
framework is considered as an important aspect as this helps in developing a better
communication among the team for carrying out a successful project. Project managers in a
global project management are responsible for encompassing the different skillset for managing
the technical works effectively (Chou, Irawan & Pham, 2013). The project manager leader needs
to align the business objective properly so that it becomes easy to meet the global context. For a
project manager to be efficient enough to meet the primary objective of the project it is important
to ensure that project managers are capable of fulfilling the overall needs. The organizational
needs are used for the purpose aligning the project team members. It is important for every
project manager to be capable of building and managing interpersonal relationships. There is a
need to know the way project needs to be managed.
The project executive should be active listener so that they can resolve the issues. The main
purpose behind having an efficient project manager is that they helps in providing better support
for the purpose of meeting the objective. It is the duty of the project executive to ensure that the
project objectives are meeting successfully (Alghail, Yao & Kie, 2017). It is important to ensure
that the key objectives and responsibilities are stated successfully towards the project team
members. With the help of core competency knowledge it becomes easy to develop the project.

Apart from this it is also important to manage the quality of service that is offered towards
customers. It is important to manage the overall performance. Without improving the work
quality it will become difficult to establish a firm. There is a need to manage the project
management qualities as this helps in carrying out the project successfully. In global project
management area it becomes essential to have a well-organized project executive who will be
responsible for organizing the different aspects efficiently. The personal traits that are expected
from an efficient project manager are listed below:
 Project managers must have the potential to respect other stakeholders and should have
the power to influence other team members for achieving the target.
 Project managers must have the ability adapt as per the needs of the project. This will
ensure that the projects are being developed with proper responsibility.
 High level understanding of project managers needs to be there.
 Project manager should have proper knowledge about the different fundamental concepts
that are associated with successful implementation of a project.
 Project manager must have the ability to negotiate with the stakeholders
 Encouraging the team members for the purpose of accomplishing the goal
Question 2:
The construction project that I have observed recently has helped me in gaining huge
knowledge. Project management phases are considered to be the most important aspect that helps
in executing a project successfully. Project management is considered to be crucial as this helps
in ensuring that the different components related to the project are managed successfully. The
construction project was related to developing a mall at the city center location. It was observed

that due to lack of proper budgeting and scheduling the project failed to meet the key
requirements. The main lag that was found within the project development process was the
improper scheduling process (Khamaksorn, 2016). Thus it can be stated that in order to improve
the overall performance it is essential to implement the project with effective knowledge. Before
developing a project it is vital to consider that the scope of the project is identified at the early
stage. Once the project scope and objective is identified it becomes easy to develop the project.
The project execution is essential and thus it becomes important to organize the different
components efficiently. There is a need to manage the work quality so that it becomes easy to
establish the different components.
The main issue that is identified within the development of mall was with improper time
and budget maintenance. Time management in project is considered very crucial as this helps in
organizing the way project needs to be carried out. The project phases changes over time. Thus
there is a need to use proper time management tools for organizing the activities (Lee et al.,
(2018). The project needs to be prioritized based on their activities. With the help of proper
strategy it will become easy to develop a project. For the purpose off tracking every activity
carried out while executing a project it becomes essential to track the time frames, resources
needed and the quality of the product needs to be maintained.
Effective project management knowledge will help in delivering the project successfully.
This will also ensure that the overall cost is reduced (Pollard, 2019). Apart from this it is also
equally important to satisfy the customers so that overall performance can be improved (Mustaro
& Rossi, 2013). The major issue that was identified with the project is with improper scheduling.
There is a need to manage the project components effectively so that it becomes easy to meet the
goal. The project management tool that is needed for organizing the different components are

Gantt charts. The use of project management tool will provide better way of managing the
overall performance. The project needs to be developed successfully for ensuring that the
