The aim of the assessment is to evaluate the Methodologies that are related with global
project management. In addition to this the assessment will also focus on identifying the personal
traits that are needed to be present within a project manager for the purpose of successfully
executing a project. Global project management states that every project components needs to be
organized effectively so that it can meet the objective that is said by the project managers. There
are certain factors that are essential for successful project execution. This includes identifying the
overall budget that will be needed, managing the resources, managing manpower, determining
the budget, schedule in the work and developing an efficient team. In order to execute the project
successfully it is important to understand the personal traits that are needed to be present within
project managers. The key qualities that are needed to be present includes efficient
communication skill, easy negotiation, stakeholder management, risk analysis factor, making
decision in the critical situations and managing the team performance. Apart from this it is
important for the project manager to influence their team member for the purpose of achieving
the target. A motivated project manager helps in establishing the project objective is more
efficiently. With the help of an effective project manager it will become easy to meet the
objective. Thus it is important for every project managers to have effective qualities that will
help in successfully executing a project.
Implementation of a CRM system within XZZ private limited is a known project to me.
This project was executed for the purpose of enhancing the business capabilities of XZZ private
limited. The organization faced huge issue with the management of services that are offered
towards the customers. Thus with the implementation of customer relationship management
system within the organization it was expected that the overall performance will be enhanced.
However the project team members associated CRM implementation failed to meet the

objective. The project failed to execute within the estimated time. This hampered the overall
execution and also led to increase in budget. The project team members failed to set up a realistic
time and budget. This lead to failure of the project and also wasted a huge amount of resources.
This project management case helped me in gaining knowledge about the importance of project
time and budget. For executing a project successfully it is important to have proper project
management knowledge that will be able to meet the objective of the project. This will help in
enhancing the overall performance. The budget and time needs to be estimated at the early stage
so that the chances of project failure can be mitigated. The budget needs to be managed for the
purpose of organizing the project effectively. Every team member needs to be organized properly
so that they can meet the overall objective. Apart from this, it is important for project managers
to implement better qualities that will guide the team for meeting the objective.
