1. Appropriate Techniques of Project Evaluation
The different techniques of evaluation of the room and kitchen renovation project are:
1. Traditional – The traditional form of project management technique mainly focuses
over the main activities involved in project management. Based on the renovation project, it
could be used for understanding that the traditional form of project management could be useful.
In this project, each of the activities would be completed in proper sequence.
2. Waterfall – This technique of project management is mainly useful in such kind of
projects in which every activity would need to be performed in a sequential manner or parallel
manner. As per the discussed project, it can be seen that the waterfall methodology could be
helpful for the management of projects (Kuhrmann et al., 2017). Tasks can be done in a
sequential manner. Moreover, the waterfall methodology would also help in finding the critical
activities that need to be done in order to proceed on to the next task of the development process.
3. Kanban – Although this form of project management could be useful in software
development process, however, this technique is not suitable for construction and renovation
projects. In this process, the work is mostly divided into small manageable tasks (Pheng &
