Explanation of project scope
The objective of project is to organise a world class conference on auditing of United
nation sustainable development goals. It will be a two day conference and for 300 delegates. The
conference will be held online (Elmas and Babayev 2021). The main purpose is to make profit of
£10,000 for a renewable energy project. Here, technical requirements are a server, computer
system, projector, software, etc. Along with that, it requires a proper network and connection as
well. Moreover, exclusions of project are delegate access conference at own expense. After 4th
march no refund is given. Only transport cost in accrued during event. The communication is
responsibility of delegate. The APL is not having any responsibility for possession or clothing of
speaker or delegates. Also, another limitation is project does not include any food or
accommodation for delegates in it as travel is not anticipated. Besides, the milestone of project is
that form to participate in conference are already been sent to delegates before due date.
Furthermore, risk assessment has been carried out prior to starting of conference. The scope of
project is that conference is held on topic of auditing of UNDP goals for 300 delegates.
WBS and network diagram
It is necessary to use appropriate method of project management so that project goals are
attained in specified time. Thus, for this project waterfall method will be used. In this activities
are broken down into linear sequential phase and each phase is dependent on previous one.
WBS is used to break down project activities into small tasks (Hair and Sarstedt 2021).
Thus, it enables team to known what exactly they have to do. It is useful in sequencing work,
estimate cost and time for completion of each activity.

Similarly, gantt chart is needed for planning and scheduling of project. It also helps in
determining how long project takes to complete, resources needed in it, etc. With use of gantt
chart it becomes easy to monitor project progress as per set timeline and activities in it.

Critical path allows in finding out which is most important task in project. Thus, it gives
brief insight about project timelines and relation between tasks.
Costing for conference
There is need to estimate the budget which is required for organising conference. This is
because on basis of budget ticket price is decided (Llorens and Viñoles-Cebolla 2021). It gives
insight about overall cost incurred in project. Thus, to estimate cost direct costing method was
used. In that price is directly related to cost of project. There are two types of cost incurred in it
that is direct and indirect. So, in current project as well direct and indirect expenses were
identified.
The contingency is that project cost may be more or less as estimated. Thus, it is necessary
to do proper estimation by using costing method.
The approach taken for project is waterfall model. It was helpful in carrying out project
activities. So, with that it easy for us to initiate tasks in effective way. The teams helped by doing
incomplete tasks which I left for previous tasks.

My experience in project management is good. I gained a lot of knowledge about costing
method, project method, etc. (Saidoun 2021). As I was already having a little experience in
initiating a project so I undertook and did this project properly.
Approach to risk assessment
In every project there may occurs various types of risk which can impact on overall project
activities. Thus, it is necessary to identify those risk so that accordingly relevant actions and
measures are taken. Alongside, it also allows in determining level and impact of risk on project.
Thus, for that risk assessment is done (Vrchota and et.al., 2021). It is process to analyse and
evaluate risk and ways or mitigate that. Similarly, in present project risk assessment is done
which is as follows :
