1 Theory Section
1.1 WBS
The WBS stands for Work Breakdown Structure used to divide the whole project into the
different task and each task is sub-divided into activities along. The main purpose of using WBS
is to completely understand the project in one aspect. The divided activities and tasks are small
and manageable and can be logical, consistent, and uniform. It also helps in developing an
optimum schedule of the project and the estimated cost at the work level.
1.2 RACI chart
A RACI chart is a type of RAM (Responsibility Assignment Matrix) used to present the roles of
the main stakeholders in terms of four factors, R means Responsible, A means Accountable, C
means Consistency, and I mean Inform. It is presented in the form of a matrix where the first
column presents the WBS coding of the work breakdown activities and packages, and the second
column presents the name of the work breakdown activities. The remaining column used to
present the number of stakeholders. It is very helpful and useful in assigning the activities to the
stakeholders, project manager, and experts and also helps in managing the communication.
(Kloppenborg, Anantatmula & Kathryn 2019, p. 297).
1.3 Schedule-1 Gantt
The Gantt chart is commonly used to present the schedule of the project in a graphical manner.
As the list of the tasks and activities are placed on the left side of the table under the task name
tab, the right section graphically represents the list of tasks in horizontal bar form. MS-Project is
the most famous tool used for making the Gantt chart. The flow of each activity and task is
shown on the separate line from the starting date to the ending date with the bar on the timescale.
1.4 Schedule-2 AON
The term AON means Activity on Node which is also called as PDM (Precedence Diagramming
Method) is a technique designed to make the clear understanding of the scheduled activities
where nodes are used to represent the activities and they are connected by the arrows. A small
schedule of the project is shown in the below figure where A and D are connected using arrows.
It means B and C will be started only after the completion of the task A and D will be started
after the completion of the task B and C (Kloppenborg, Anantatmula & Kathryn 2019, p. 248).

There are some methods used to solve these resources overloaded:
1. The overloading resources can be solved by comparing the histogram (shown in above two
figures) and the Gantt chart on the basis of time-scale.
2. Another method is to assign particular activities to the other resources and also activities can
be split into two parts.
3. The resource overloading can also be resolved by re-ordering the activities.
4. Resource leveling can be also used to level up all the resources which are execution
technique (Kloppenborg, Anantatmula & Kathryn 2019, p. 300-301).

deadline date, quality, budget, and team.
