According to Jayasuriya (2017), the success and failure of any project is dependent on the way through
which the levels of stakeholders are evaluated throughout the project development life cycle period. The
main purpose of the paper is to examine the involvement of stakeholders and its impact during the project

This research study concludes that successes of the construction projects are dependent on level of
stakeholder’s involvement in the projects. It is also determined that it is not roles of the contractors and
designers to establish key objective, scope and goals but it is role of the project stakeholders. Jayasuriya
(2017) stated that, if the stakeholder involvement plans in terms of team building are considered in large
construction projects in Australia then, the objectives of the project would meet in a much easier way.

This research accomplishes the roles and involvement of stakeholders and team building in Australian
construction project success. However, what are the risks that may impact the project are not identified
and no broader contexts are being considered.

From the analysis it can be concluded that, this particular research study evaluates different levels of

A critical reflection of your learning experience
I have learned that the success and failure of any project is dependent on the roles and responsibilities
served by the project team associates under the guidance of project supervisor. I have learned regarding
the team building and development strategies in terms of forming, storming, Norming, performing and
adjourning. I have also learnt that, the team must be formed based on the skill, knowledge and
experience of the associates. I have also learnt that, while conducting any research the reputation of the
research board, international ranking of the journal and also team process are much essential. For project
success the importance and requirements of proper communication, negotiation skills, leadership and
motivation skills are also being learnt.
