3. Project scheduling
Project scheduling is considered as one of the mechanisms that is helpful in
communicating what work generally needs to be performed and what type of resources will be
required for performing the work and the timeframes in which the entire work generally needs to
be performed effectively (Li and Womer 2015). The project schedule that is developed for the
implementation of MMS and CRM system generally helps in reflecting all the work that is
mainly needed to be performed for meeting the demands of Cyclone IT.
Gantt chart is used as one of the scheduling tools that is helpful in planning as well as
scheduling the entire work of the project effectively for implementing CRM and MMS system
for Cyclone IT. It is found that Gantt charts are considered useful as they are quite simple in
creating and as well as keeping track on the entire work of the project. The use of Gantt chart
further helps in improving communication as well as team cohesion and further helps in avoiding
resource overload within the entire project (Ramazani and Jergeas 2015).

5. Group activity report
5.1 Group activity 1
1st Group
The 1st group members created a project charter for the development of CRM and MMS
system. The project charter that is developed helps in reflecting all the needs and requirements of
the sponsors properly and it includes all the details which are needed for starting the work of the
project. The charter that is created by the group includes details like project overview, scope,
constraints, assumptions, key stakeholders as well as risks that are associated with the project.
The risks that are mentioned in the charter helps in providing proper idea to the team so that they
can avoid such risks for achieving success within the project.
2nd Group
The 2nd group of the project helps in gathering information about the project scope as well
as the scheduling techniques that are needed for the development of CRM and MMS system for
Cyclone IT. The scope that is provided reflects both on the in-scope as well as out scope for
providing knowledge about the criteria’s that the project will cover and the criteria’s which will
not be followed within the project. It is found that Gantt chart is the most suitable tool for
reflecting the entire work of the schedule that is required to be executed for the project.
Furthermore, it is found that Gantt charts are mainly used as they are quite simple in creating as
