1. Introduction
The project focuses on the construction of a new flyover by the ADCO construction
organization on the pacific highway road of Australia. It is identified that the flyover was
constructed in order to reduce traffic congestion on the roads of Australia (Roads and
Maritime Services 2017). In addition to this, the flyover construction helps in providing
proper as well as smooth system of transportation to the people of Australia.
The report is mainly based on a business case that generally contains several
objectives of the project. The paper also identifies project milestone, schedule, resources as
well as risk that are associated with the construction of flyover. It is identified that the report
elaborates several measures that are helpful in mitigating the risks that are associated with the
construction of flyover.
2. Project charter
The condition of the road as well as traffic in the Pacific road of Australia is in poor
condition due to the increase in the number of vehicles in the last few years. It is identified
that the Pacific road of Australia does not have any flyover bridge and as a result traffic
congestion on the road is high. For mitigating this problem, the government of Australia
proposed the project of flyover construction and provided the project to the ADCO
construction company. The construction of flyover not only helps in mitigating the problem
of traffic but also helps in providing proper as well as smooth travelling experience to the
people.
