Project management is define as set of practices which are conducted by an organization in
order to meet objective and goal in particular time duration. This will include several activities
or practices such as initiating, conducting planning, execution, controlling, accomplishment of
work. Organization selected for this presentation is Essential Clothing Company, which is
situated at Uttoxeters, United Kingdom. They offer wide range of clothing, decorative and gift
items at very attractive as well as affordable price.

A project, its characteristics and role
of project manager
A project is define as activities which are conducted in order to meet specific standard of the
procedure which is adopted for developing a particular products and services. It is also consider
as collaboration of activities that include research as well as design work for gaining unique
outcome. In respect of Essential Clothing Company, the project decided by their project
manager is development of new website and intranet that will help them conducting effective
internal communication.
