that comprise of required coordinate and control activities that merely come up with particular
unique start and finish date. It is mainly undertaken to achieve a particular objective that is ISO
21500. I have learned that PMI can be stated due to application of required knowledge, skills and
tools which is needed for having proper activities in project which are mainly required for
achieving the need of the project.

objective of the project in the given time. It merely comprises of various parameter like quality,
cost and lastly overall performance (Badewi, 2016). I have learned about ISO, which can be
stated as the method of applying different tools, techniques and overall competencies in the
given project. In other words, it can be stated as the overall integration of different stages of life
cycle of the project and is mainly carried through various processes.
I have learned that most common way of understanding the project management standard
is all about describing some of the common solutions that comes up with repetitive issues. PMI
aims to follow the Volunteer Consensus Standard process. At present, there are more than four-
year cycle which can bring benefits to millions of people on worldwide platform (Banihashemi et
al., 2017). I have learned about project management life cycle, which can be stated as a sequence
of process that comprises of various steps like scoping, planning, launching, monitoring and
controlling and lastly closing phase. In the scoping phase, a proper development and approval
gain are needed for having an understanding concerning goal and business value of the project.
In the planning phase, identification has been done concerning work that is done in estimated
cost and resource needs and lastly gaining approval (Binder, 2016). In the launching phase, both
recruitments of team and establishment of operating rules comes into picture. In monitoring
phase, there is a continuous response to phase to the given request, which can overcome the
issues for maintaining the overall progress of the report. In the last stage that is closing process,
there is a need for attainment of the overall need of the client and installing the required
deliverables of the project.

4PROJ 6000: PRINCIPLES OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In this module have learned about PMBOK areas of knowledge like integration
management, scope management, time management, quality management and scope
management and lastly risk management. Stakeholder satisfaction mainly focuses on three
important aspects of the project like scope, cost and time (Schwalbe, 2015). The given three
aspects are known to be golden triangle or Iron triangle. By increasing the overall scope of the
project, various aspect will increase like time, cost or it can have an impact on both risk and
quality. There is a need for unity among the various standard of project management which
emphasizes on increasing the overall success rate of project. I have learned about various kind of
project competences like PMBOK, Scrum and Prince2 (Wawira & Were, 2017). Apart from this,
I have learned about various modules like project management and project planning (P2M),
International competences business, and lastly, association for project management has been
discussed in brief.
I have learned about PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) aims to provide
some general information about the foundation of given principles and practices that are there in
project management (Joslin & Müller, 2015). It is completely developed from various kind of
volunteers that are located on worldwide platform. PMBOK mainly comprises of ten areas of
knowledge like scope, time, cost, communication, human resource management, integration and
stakeholder management has been discussed in brief. I have learned about Prince2 methodology,
which was established in the year 1989 by the agency of computer and Telecommunication in
the year 1996 (de Carvalho, Patah & de Souza Bido, 2015). The first standard of Prince2 way
developed for IT projects that are there in UK. The overall concept of Prince2 can be easily
applied to some of the non-IT projects. The prince2 methodology mainly comprises of 7
principles, seven themes, seven processes and lastly 40 activities.

I have learned about the differences between PMBOK and Prince2 where PMBOK
methodology focuses on repeatable processes while Prince2 is all about product or project that is
there in controlled environment. PMBOK methodology does not provide any kind of information
concerning human resource management. PMBOK focus on various knowledge areas for human
resource management for a given project. PMBOK is all about development of project team and
acquiring it (Walker, 2015). I have learned about Traditional project management which comes
up with huge number of features like routine, no surprise, no change in scope and lastly low
value of complexity (de Carvalho, Patah & de Souza Bido, 2015). I have also learned about agile
project management that comes up with various benefits like solution to change in scope,
minimum scope changes. Extreme project management is mainly used in research and
development project.
Methods to improve the success rate of the project
I have learned about importance of project management process which can address
various question like project stakeholders and how their overall need can be met.
Communication can be stated as the method of passing the required information, which helps in
having a proper understanding that is transmitted from one team member to another team
member (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017). I have learned that overall success of the project can be
improved by controlling various aspects like risk identification, risk mitigation, risk monitoring
and control of project. I have learned about project statement of work (SOW) which can be
stated a description of product and services which is provided by the project.
I have learned about project scope management, which is all about understanding the
scope description, deliverables that are final and periodical result. In project cost management, I
have learned about the type of cost like direct cost, fixed cost, variable and lastly indirect cost in

the project (Golini, Kalchschmidt & Landoni, 2015). I have learned about four ways by which
project manager can enhance the overall success speed of the given project like
Working Collaboratively: It merely requires involvement of parties which is outside the
project that is considered to be very much important (Badewi, 2016). It is merely so that they
have an idea concerning project and its term of commitment for the overall objectives of project.
Compression of work sessions for much faster decision: In most of the cases, the project
manager spends huge amount of time which is needed for analysing the overall result
(Banihashemi et al., 2017). It is mainly needed for burning down huge portion of the budget.
Communicating in short feedback loops which are needed for improving momentum:
Proper communication in the process will ultimately provide feedbacks loop on which
complement work session can come into picture.
Conclusion
The above pages of the report help us in concluding the fact that this report is all about
having an idea concerning PMBOK knowledge and groups. After that, an idea has been provided
concerning project management best practices and PMI codes of ethics. A comparison and
contrast have been done concerning various project management practices. It is mainly needed
for managing various kind of project. Various tools and techniques have been described, paying
specific attention to risk management. A reflection has been provided on various leadership style
which is needed for overall success of the given project. The above pages of the report, various
project management practices have been described in brief. An idea has been provided
concerning implementation and competencies which is needed for understanding the success and
failure of the project. In the last section of the report, an analysis has been done concerning
