Risk associated with the implementation of JioGigaFiber
The aim of developing JioGigaFiber is to offer Jio for home, small and medium enterprises
and as well as large enterprises over 1,100 cities. The risks associated with jio gigga fiber project is
that it will remove the need of normal broadband and will affect their business a lot. Apart from these
the other networks will get effected adversely as the features offered by JioDTH are many and most
importantly it offers high speed service. However the cost of JioGigaFiber are too high for normal
people as compared to other DTH services. There are chances of substantial risks with the deployment
of high speed network. This were the external issues apart from these there are several risks associated
with the use of broadband. With the help of broadband the attackers can launch new wave SPAM
mails that will affect the whole system. The attackers uses broadband connection as a stepping stones.
Plans and strategies for mitigating risks
The developed broadband will ensure high speed network but to a certain extent. By
collaborating with the DTH services they can reduce the impact. Moreover huge financial requirement
will be there in order to build network towers that will provide high speed network. This will lead to
consumption of more land and thus by using the existing network towers jio can reduce the
consumption of energy (Sun and Lam 2015). In order to maintain the customer’s security it is
important for the investor to stop exposing themselves in investing bit coins. Proper operational
executive and financial strategies are needed so that they can manage the profits.
CASE1:
This is the responsibility of the project manager to understand the requirements of the country
and after that implementing and ERP that will help the country. The budget for the implementation of
the ERP model is US$ 1, 00, 000, 00 (Pandey 2017). The steps includes:
 Understanding mandatory system associated with the country
 Collaboration with the prominent investors and understanding the requirement of the country
 Preparing a budget control strategy that will help the project manager to work accordingly

 Managing resources and organizing a proper team for implementing the ERP project
 Providing training and understanding the requirement of the users
 Proper data migration
Case 2:
In order to work with the project manager native to Johannesburg, it is important to
understand the need of the country. After determining the need the implementation strategies can be
executed. Before applying the implementation strategies there is a need to assess the impacts of
applying this ERP model (Monzon 2015). As a native of Johannesburg the manager will implement
an ERP model that will be beneficial for the country.
CASE3:
The project decided will get implemented even after project manager eaves the project. The
project will continue based on the listed requirements and the way it was decided. Apart from these, I
will ask the team members to choose a temporary manager who will look after the project (Jin et al.
2014). The ERP implementation will be executed as decided and no changes will be made on the
decision.

It is important to develop a smart city to meet the needs of present generation. However it is
equally important to have a sustainable city as well. As with the implementation of sustainable city
the city will be developed after applying protection for environment and will also help in improving
the quality of life (Harwood 2017). The main focus of sustainable city is on policies and physical
initiatives that includes public transport, architecture, providing community facility and green space.

Before developing a smart city it is important and advised to have a sustainable city. This will reduce
the energy required to produce an input, will help in reducing air and water pollution and will focus
entirely on developing a city that will not harm the environment.
B. Project for smart city
In order to implement a smart city it is important to have better features that will provide
proper communication, better infrastructure and a luxurious way of living. All this feature within the
smart city are needed to implement. This will improve the way of living and will ensure maximum
facilities. The aim behind developing a smart city is to create a citizen friendly and sustainable city.
The main need of a smart city includes adequate water supply, assured electricity supply to each part
of the city. Apart from this providing a better solid waste management plan and proper sanitation. The
project also includes implementing the features and making it affordable and digitizing each area of
the country (Cocchia 2014). For implementing his features it becomes important to have a good
governance and e citizen participation. The features that a smart city project includes:
 Smart parking: this is a feature that allows the car owner to know about the parking and
allows them to park effectively.
 Smart healthcare: with the help of sensors in the garbage bag the garbage van collector gets
notification about when to empty the basket.
 Smart traffic management: this helps in informing the passengers about the traffic jam and
helps them to take a short route that will reduce the traffic.
 Smart watches: his helps to calculate the footsteps walked by the user and also helps to check
the health condition. The user can also access the social media and can answer to calls with
the use of smart watch.
 Smart house: smart house has a sensor that notifies the user about the condition of house and
also notifies whether they as forgot to switch of the electrical appliances or not.
 Smart cars: smart cars are the best innovation as this reduces the need of human driver. The
owner can seat back and enjoy ride. The robots are designed to take care of the driving.

Major challenges faced while developing a smart city are many. This includes financing
problem, improper time management, lack in coordination, lack of master plans, inadequate resources,
corruption. This are the major issues that are faced while developing a smart city. Development of a
smart city includes proper financing with a proper budget and execution plan. So that the banks
spending money on the plan can understand the percentage of benefit they will receive. Moreover
sometimes the country may lack the resources (Chavez 2018). This is a major issue as before
implementing a smart city adequate resource with trained staffs are needed. Apart from this lack of
coordination from citizen can disrupt the whole system.
In order to overcome the challenges it becomes important to have some solutions. This
includes:
Active citizen participation
It becomes important to have full support from the citizens so that the challenges can be
overcome easily. Unless the citizens are ready to adapt the technology it becomes useless. For getting
good governance in becomes important to have involvement in decision making. The smart city will
get developed only after the citizens approves the plan.
Regulatory authority
It is important to have a regulatory authority that will centralize the activities for a
streamlined process. This will help to maintain uniformity and will help to bring transparency in the
process.
