1. Overview of the business case
The main focus is on the organization “Lee Harrison Trust” which is one of the
multimillion charitable foundation in Australia. The organization aims to properly improve both
the social as well as community well being within the communities which have higher than
average level of poverty. The LHT have the objective of supporting the different community
projects for the poorer community for giving proper care, education as well as welfare to the
young people. In order to achieve this aims and objectives, LHT offers $500,000 every year to
the different community groups who are able to demonstrate the most viable projects which will
further be helpful in building proper relationship by successfully breaking the entire barriers of
the community. It is found that Greyville which is a small town in the Blue city is divided into
parts. Within the older areas of the town, the people who stay are poor and have dilapidated
house as the rate of crime in that area is quite high. The families who stays in older areas of the
town suffer from different types of issues including finances, unemployment and health. The
June Green who is one of the politicians of that area wants to open a clinic for the poorer people
of that area so that they can able to get good quality of medical health facility for avoiding health
issue. If LFT funds $500,000 then proper healthcare facility can be provided to the poor people
who does not have appropriate medical facility and therefore faces a lot of health-related issues
and challenges.

As per the project team, the entire project scope is divided into two categories which are
in-scope and out-scope.

The various types of assumptions that are mainly created by the project manager while
opening a clinic in the older area of Greyville are illustrated below:
Facilities: It was assumed that the clinic which will be opened in the older area of
Greyville will be helpful in providing a number of facilities for the poorer people of that area in
order to maintain their health conditions. The services which are mainly provided include

management and more.
Finance: It is assumed that after analyzing the business case that was developed in order
to provide medical heal facility to the poorer people of Greyville by opening a clinic then the

Time: As per the assumption of the project manager, the clinic will be opened within 1
year of time and will be able to provide all the preliminary care related services to the patients so
that they can be able to maintain their health condition effectively.
4. Project constraints
According to Hornstein (2015), a project constraint is defined as one of the restrictions
that limits the progress of the entire project successfully. The major constraints that limits the
opening of the clinic in Greyville are mainly elaborated below:

Increment in job opportunities: It is found that due to the setup of a clinic in the region
of Greyville, some workers are required to maintain the clinic and for looking after the patients
that requires instant medical treatment. The people of that region can be able to get job which
helps in increasing employment in that region (De Carvalho, Patah & De Souza Bido, 2015).
Due to increment in employment, the people can be able to live a better life and poverty of that
