The advancement in the technology has affected the organisation and the marketplace in which

these organisations operate its business. This also gives rise to the competition between the

organisations. Changes or modifications in marketplace affect the organisational forms. Such

modifications can be dealt with by the management of the project that can lead in assisting and

allowing the modifications involved. Project management holds an essential place in the

organisation and its growth and development. It is adopted by the management of the

organisation with the view to apply the skills, tools, and knowledge for accomplishing the

objectives for a short period of time. For ensuring about effective project management, there are

certain factors which are to be taken into consideration such as planning, organisation,

controlling and directing the resources of the company so that it can be utilised properly and

adequately. Different practices are followed in order to make sure that the project is managed

properly and it accomplishes the desired outcomes. Certain institutes and bodies are established

in order to provide the certification and management programs to different managers of the

project. These institutes are the PMI (Project Management Institute) and the IPMA (International

Project Management Association). Project Management is also considered as upbringing of

different disciplines which aims on the project. Different methods and the classified framework

for the management of the project are also included in this assignment along with its research.

An analysis of the research of project management is also made which is further divided into

different parts such as Studies Distribution over the years, Articles Distribution by the method

for research, Studies Distribution by the Areas of Knowledge of Project Management and studies

distribution by the process group of the project.
