The main initiative of the organizational changes is generally focused upon the various operational strategies. From the course it is clearly understandable that
the project management practices are subsequently associated with enhancing the successful execution of the various kind of initiatives. The implementation
of the project management by an organization would remain elusive. Project management methodology can be considered as a fancy way of describing a

good team, and we also must know how you’re going to run the project. Some projects lend themselves to certain methodologies. Sometimes it’s at the
preference of the project manager. By passing of time I understood the different kind of benefits that an organization would be getting by making use of the
different project management methodologies and this would be initiallu be responsible for helping in the aking of plans which are effective and would also be

2.2 Learning Outcome 2: Critically analyse the impact of Project Management Methodologies upon stakeholders
Through the course I have gained a wide knowledge about the project management and a very vital role is played by the stakeholders. The
selection of the proper project management methodology would be having a huge impact over the stakeholders. A proper communication plan is
created by the project management which would be helping a lot in the propagation of the information in an easy way and would also be helping
in the preparation of progress report which is to be provided to the stakeholders involved in the project. Stakeholders play a vital role in any kind
of project who are having an impact upon the project. The choice of stakeholders is a very challenging task. In the whole course we have been
learning about the way of selecting the stakeholders.
Evidence
Evidences have been gather from eh various study materials and along with this we have also taken help form the other scholarly articles as well.
2.3 Learning outcome 3: Explain and justify the major elements of a Project Management Methodology that might meet the needs of
an organisation
After the course have been completed we gained a huge knowledge about the major elements involved in a project. The other significant role
which is played by the project management is the completion of the task within time and also within a budget which has assumed for the project.
In order to do this it is very much important that the scope of the project should be identified. For this reason it is very much essential to consider
the scope of project which is a major part of the project management methodology which are adopted any organization. The prohject might be
executed in an unexpected way or might also get delayed if the identification of the scope is not done in a proper way. After the completion of
the course I have also understood that planning of the project should be done in a proper way which would be acting as one of the significant

3 DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
Throughout 12 weeks of learning about project management methodologies, I have understood the fundamental knowledge about the
various needs of the project. Besides the basic aspects of the project has also been taught to us in a proper way besides this the project
management methodologies has also been taught to us in a proper way. Considering all the key element also needs to be done during the process
of selecting the right methodology for the purpose of achieving success during the project besides this the success of the project is also largely
dependent on the approach which is adopted in order to complete a project.

Project
manager Role
within the
project
Creating anything or for the purpose of
achieving any specific task there is a need of
thinking in a systematic way and making
systematic arrangements of various works
would be helping in putting them all together
to acquire successful end results and this is
known as project management. The term
management is associated with indicating the
entire scenario where there is an existence of
an organized level of approaching milestones
for the purpose of making sure that the work
that are being done is done in a precise way
by having all the available resources that are
allocated for the project. Project managers
are associated with looing into the matter that
all the works of the project are conducted In a
sequential way and in efficient way. This kind
of approach towards any kind of project
would be accomplished without surpassing
the various aspects of the project which
includes the time, budget, and many more
without making any kind of compromising
regarding the quality of the output.
I have been working as an engineer in an
organization there exists several duties
which were to be fulfilled by me and deliver
a quality project by making use of modern
elevations, exotic designs and many more
usable phase that exists within the budget
that has been proposed by the
stakeholders. So it can be stated that
accepting the project which is having
specific requirements are at risk and for the
purpose of meeting the specified
expectations of the client there is a need of
crucial as well as critical thinking. The time,
budget and the quality are generally
considered to be major aspect that are
needed for the purpose of completing the
construction in a successful way. So the
satisfaction of the customers acts as one of
the major concern. By taking into various
considerations of all the risks factors which
are generally faced during the construction
phase includes various conditions like the
weather condition, delays in the extensive
planning also needs to be done by the
engineers who are generally responsible for
the whole project. Project planning is
needed in order to overcome all the
challenges and the project managers are
associated with helping in this total process.

This chapter is associated with providing an

the prerequisites of the project as well. This
chapter is also associated with providing an
overview of the various transformations of
making a project achieve success. This is
generally associated with showing a significant
development in the era of project
management. Project managers are
associated with assigning specific roles along
with understanding their specific role.
While working in an organization I have an
idea of the whole process and the
functioning of the organization which is
associated allocating a set of works to the
respective groups which generally makes
them to follow a successive pattern. Critical
thinking is necessary in a situation when an
individual has to take the decisions to
overcome the problem rather than leaving
it as a failure. It totally depends on the
personnel thinking and the type of situation
the individual is dealing with.

Project management is generally viewed as

Additionally project management has also

Project management is almost used by
almost each and every organization by
making use of certain project management
methodologies. Project management has
been accepted in almost every field and this
is also helping a lot in creating a change in
the domain of multinational project
management. From this chapter I have
learnt that a system is nothing but a
collection of interacting sub-systems which
are generally organized in order to provide a
synergistic outcome. The systems are
characterized with boundaries or interfaces
conditions and for this reason project
management is also known as the
mechanism which is required for the
purpose of acquiring the target of the
project by making uses of the traditional
organization structure. Project management
methodology is associated with mitigating
the risk and is also responsible for
enhancing the chances of success. This is
also associated with enabling the team to
share ideas and thoughts on what is
happening and what can be the final
From this course I have learned that there
exists several type of projects which
includes the individual projects, special
projects, staff projects and aggregate
projects. For each project there is a
requirement of certain project methodology
which is needed in order to complete a
project in an efficient and effective way. I
have learned that project methodology
helps to focus on right things at right way.

The main reason lying being the occurrence of this

From my experience I have learnt that with Increase in
the level of complexity the level of achieving success
decreases in a specified task. The variation of level of

Factors of the
project
A very crucial role is played by the
project management during the growth
and development of the project and
this is done by considering all the
important phases of a project. Project
management is associated with putting
a special emphasis over the sequential
execution of the various project phases
in such a manner which would be
associated with ensuring the fact that
the delivery of the project is done in a
successful way. So project
management can be stated as an
effective set of practices which are
associated with allowing the
determination of various activities as

From the course of this week I
understood the project management

as the major element responsible for
the conducting of various

There exists many situations when
there remains a number of options in

From the past two decades, the term quality has been

Customers who are associated with the purchasing of the

Work breakdown structure is a plan to analyse the project
and divide it into possible groups and define the role and
target to achieve the project.

segregate and allot the work packages to the employees in
the organisation.

Role of executive during planning.
Executives have to choose the project manager who has
both planning and executing skills.
Executives must not propose the milestones which are not
achievable.
If the task is divided in smaller groups, then
there is a clear goal for the employees and
they can focus on the work without having
any confusion.
The work which is divided can provide
detailed emphasis to the employee and
he/she can improve the situation by using the
