controlling PMO and a directive PMO (Bredillet, Tywoniak & Tootoonchy, 2018). The
project Management Office strives in order to standardize and introduce various
economies of repetition in the project execution. As a project manager, it is preferable to
work in the project management office environment. This is because the project
management office environment is perfect for the project manager to manage the project.
The project management office consists of various departments in the organization and
various tasks are performed within the project management office. The project manager
can easily manage the project from the project manager office and there will be
subordinates to help the project manager to manage the project and administers the
standards of the management of project within the organization (Monteiro, Santos &
Varajão, 2016).
The functions of the Project Management Office are as follows:
Maintaining the present data of the employees
Promoting the flow of information and communication
Training the leaders of the project and the stakeholders
Planning of the assets at the level of portfolio
Standardize the procedures and the techniques in the management of project.
