2. Project scope
2.1. Objectives
The main objective of this project is to develop a space that would be suitable for holding
corporate events, professional developments and others. It is expected that the space would be
designed in a way that it would be able to hold events all throughout the year. The budget set for
the project is not fixed as the price of materials and the labor price will change in course of time.
This project is expected to follow the green building principles. The project is to be implemented
in such a way that the construction works will be allowed only during the OPAIC holidays. It is
expected that the works of the three areas will be completed as per plan.
2.2. Deliverables
The deliverables of the entire project is segregated into two parts, the tangible
deliverables and the intangible deliverables. The tangible and the intangible delivers associated
with the development of the purpose field space is indicated as follows-
Tangible Deliverables: The tangible deliverables of the project include development of a
purpose built space filling in level 8. The project aims in delivery of 3 areas, which include a
board room for professional meeting, a traditional space for presentations. The outside balcony
will also be prepared to be used for all purposes. The other tangible deliverables of the project
include the plumbing and the furnishings. The furniture include presentation desk, chairs, tables,
sofas and coffee tables. It is aimed that the tangible deliverables of the project will be delivered
as per plan.

Intangible Deliverables: The intangible deliverables of the project include consent for the
building works and the associated licensing.
2.3. Limitations and Exclusions
The major limitation of the project is that the scope of the project is quite limited. It is
particularly because the project mainly aims in developing of a particular space in a building.
The main constraints of the project are as follows-
1. The project is needed to be implanted in a specific and a limited timeframe which is
one of the major constraints of the project undertaken.
2. There is no specific design set for the modification of the balcony.
3. Assumptions and Risks
It is assumed that the project will be completed within the set time. The major risk in this
project is budget risk as no specific budget is set for the chosen project.
