INTRODUCTION
This presentation is going to elaborate the requirements that need to complete and
manage a project. It is based on launching a new website by Power Motors, to provide the
accessibility to customers to get live videos about own car and how much time the company will
take more to repair it.

What is a Project
Project can have defined as a group activity, which is designed for attainment of a
specific desired outcome. In organisation, it is different than other routine operations because it
mainly focused on executing a new business objective, by framing effective strategies and plan
for entire implementation process. In this regard, Power Motors seeks to launch a new website,
where customers will get accessibility and information every time about own car's repairing
process, in visualise manner (live video) when they open online account. Thus, providing live
videos in such a way, will help in providing satisfaction to customers and getting high retention
of them as well. To successfully launch this website, respective company has given
responsibility to project management team to prepare necessary documents, needed for the same.
It includes costs, time and organisational strategy, that are required for execution of this project,
to achieve business goal.

To conduct a project, it is essential for project managers to identify the stakeholders first,
who may have affected by the same. In context with present project, the main people of Power
Motors that are associated with this, include staff members, sponsors, team-members, customers,

role in conducting and implementing this project, for achievement of strategic goal of given
company. But for performing this task, they are working under supervision of operational
managers, so that website can be launched successfully, in desired way. Along with this, domain

work as a collective group for delivering a wholesome experience to users, where they can see

Role of a project manager
Project-manager performs the main role in conducting a project, in planning, monitoring,
and scheduling entire activities. To make project on how to launch website and what benefits it
will provide, manager's role is to create a project team and design a proper structure that

manage the tension between their expectations. Along with this, for developing a holistic view of
present project, they have focused on four main areas – communication, human resource, risk
and procurement management. Under this process, skills of human resource will develop first, so
that they can contribute their efforts in running the company's website successfully. Similarly,
managers also concern on improvement in communication techniques, for developing proper
collaboration among team-members and other associated stakeholders, to manage their interest in
project. Thus, to conduct all such activities, project manager of respective company have put all
requirements on a standalone system, that help in planning day-to-day activities for launching the
website.

Project Life cycle
This part consists a collection of phases that are required for completing a project, where
a project based on launching a website includes following phases –
Project Initiation – In designing a web successfully, project team of Power Motors will
gathered a proper information first. It involves purpose, goals, targeted audience and
content. Here, main purpose behind building new website is to provide timely
information to customers about their car repairing process; goal is to earn high
satisfaction and long-term retention; and audience that present mechanic will target is car
owners.
Project Planning & Evaluation: After defining the main scope and purpose of present
project, under this stage, project manager will concern on how to execute the entire
activities, in a proper time-frame for successfully launching the website. Along with this,
they will also decide about resources like software that are needed for same, such as
Content Management System, WordPress and more. Therefore, for this purpose, different
roles and responsibilities will assigned to team-members to gather information about
requirement of technology, budget, resources and more,.
Project execution- Logo of Power Motors, background colour, prototype designs and
more, will be concerned here at this stage of project, that are needed for developing a
project. In this regard, at this stage, project manager after planning the whole activities,
will describe manner under which they will be executed, in set period of time.
Project Monitoring & Control – For ensuring success of project, manager will monitor
each and every activity, as well as make changes in completion of same, in case of
requirement, for quality assurance and meeting the desired output.
Project Closure – It is the last phase of project, where all details will collect and finalise
which technology Power Motors need to use for launching and designing its website to
exceed customer satisfaction and then present in front of stakeholders for their approval.
