2017). These process
includes Initiation,
Execution, Planning,
Control and Close out.

Methodologies
Most of the risks of a project
can be identified and
addressed using the PM
methodologies (Silva, Pérez &
Puentes, 2018). Cost benefit
relationship among the
resources can be maintained
using the methodologies (Saltz
& Crowston, 2017).

Knowledge areas
Expectations of the project stakeholders
cam be managed using the 10
knowledge areas of PM (Project
Management Institute, 2017). The
quality of the final outcome of a project
can be improved using the knowledge
areas (Pajares et al., 2017). The
resources of a project can also be
managed using the knowledge areas
(Chavez, 2018).

Role of PM practices
Prioritization of the business resources
can be done using the PM practices
(Baptista et al., 2016). The accurate
scope and schedule of a project can be
maintained using the PM practices
(Matos et al., 2019). Budget issues of a
project can also be addressed using
the PM practices (Didehvar et al.,
2018). Improper implementation of PM
practices can kill or hold a project for a
longer period of time (Chavez, 2018).

Conclusion
The visual presentation helps in understanding that
PM processes are very much useful regarding the
successful completion of the projects. Risks and
control over the projects are managed by
methodologies and knowledge areas helps to
maintain the success rate of the projects. Reason
behind failure of projects such as user involvement
can be addressed using PM practices. Improper
enactment of PM practices can delay the duration of
a project.
