INTRODUCTION
The project management can be defined as a systematic procedure of commencing,
scheduling and managing work of a team in order to reach the target of specified goals and
objectives (Anantatmula and Rad, 2018). The report is based on case study of QAHE institution
whose managers are planning to increase their space with an aim of increasing number of
students. They want to refurbishment campus located at London. For this purpose, project
management process is covered in the study. The report contains information about project
initiation document that includes timescale, cost etc. In the further part, work breakdown
structure is also covered that underlines different items.
MAIN BODY
1. Project initial document and stakeholder analysis
Project initial document- It can be defined as a type of document that consists
information about scope, strategies, risks and stakeholders regards to a project (vom Brocke and
Lippe, 2015). In the aspect of QAHE, this can be find out that they are planning to restructure
their classrooms and for this purpose they need to prepare following documents which are as
follows:
Budgetary information- In order to operate different types of activities of a project,
managers must prepare budgets so that financial resources can be allocated effectively
(Bjorvatn and Wald, 2018). In the aspect of QAHE, budget is of 100k which is
categorised into below mentioned activities that is presented in the Appendix. There have
been different expenses of QAHE such as constructing new classroom which is £ 20 k is
used to increase the place so that student strength can be increase. Cost includes in Fit
and furnishing is £ 10 and other direct cost were £ 25 that are helpful in developing
different accommodation services.
Timescale- A timescale can be the identified date on which you need to do a task. It can
also be the amount of time you expect to need in order to complete the task. Often,
timescales can be vague or flexible. This is necessary for project managers to set a time
range which should be followed so that goals and objectives can be achieved on time. In
QAHE, it is important for managers to complete renovation of classrooms before
deadline. The proposed time period of this project is 05th of February to 25th of February.

development paradigm implemented. With the project split into phases at the outset of a process
based on its success, the paradigm adopts a sequential methodology to project management.
PRINCE2 : This is one of the most crucial method of project development and has
