The project charter or PID is a document prepared at the start of any project that is being
undertaken and details all the activities that are to be followed in a chronological order (Kerzner,
2019). PID details the complete life cycle of a project and the critical elements of a PID are;
Budget: Formulation of a budget helps in predetermining the potential costs that might be
incurred in the completion of the project and the different avenues on which the expenditure
needs to be made (Fernandes and et.al., 2018). For conducting a sports event for the QAHE
London where 10 HEIs will compete, there needs to be an appropriate budget allocation of the
£20000 that have been allotted for conducting sports event successfully.

Objectives: The major objective behind hosting this event at QAHE can be formulated as
follows:
The management of QAHE will be able to expand its targeted customer base i.e. holding
such events will help QAHE is enhancing the image of the institution where the students,
parents and families associated with them will be able to see the all round development of
the child at this university.
The number of enrolments and students associated with the university shall increase from
the positive influence of such events. All the activities under this project of hosting a sports event at QAHE London must be
completed within an academic year.
Approach: The approach that can be adopted towards the hosting of this major event is error free
approach where the objectives must be integrated with the approach that is developed in
following manner:
Establishing a perfect venue for holding a variety of sports event with a robust facility of
sports equipment and ground and integrating the efforts of external specialist that is hired
with the universities' sports head, coach and other sports team (Lyra and et.al., 2018).
The core team required for hosting the sports event at QAHE London will involve 20
teachers including the Hod's of all department, all the staff of sports' team, 45 students of
QAHE, the dean of the University and everything will be reported to sponsors regularly.
The specialist hired will give special assistance in preparation of the ground, installing
different facilities that are required etc.
A proper working schedule will be developed where the education of the students will be
integrated with the spare time for project activities without any compromise on the
education aspect. Volunteers will be selected only if they are found to be adequately skilled.
Key Staff: The major staff will be the core team that has been specified in the above point along
with hiring of some specialists such as vendors, sportsperson etc. who will work collectively to
