The case study that I have learnt from these module is the case study of Royal Adelaide,
which is one of the biggest hospital in social infrastructure that the state has taken up. The main
aim of this hospital is to change their status basically from large scale private partnership to
modern provider with the health care facilities. The procurement services that are to be needed
for this is difficult to manage. The following part shows the procurement measures that I have
learnt form module 3, 4, 5, and module 6.
From module 3, I have learnt about the financial aspects of the Royal Adelaide hospital.
The procurement about dealing with the financial services includes managers who procures the
materials, services and the equipment that are involved in developing the services of the hospital.
From this module, I have learnt the total procurement cost of implementing the products as well
as services in the Royal Adelaide hospital1. I have learnt about the financial aspects of the
contractors who are involved with the risks of the organization. I have also learnt about exploring
the risks and mitigating the risks. The opportunities that are involved with improving the
Contract management of the company are learnt from this module. From this module I have
learnt about how to make the procurement process more efficient by decreasing the cost of
products and services. The contract management is also learnt from this module regarding the
Royal Adelaide hospital.

needed in the organization, medicines as well as the services that the organizations can provide
the best to their patients2. I have come to know that the documents that consists of these dealing
between the suppliers and the procurement manager is known as procurement document. The
documents are necessary for the stages of execution in the organization. I have also learnt about
contract negotiation and the main factors that are included in the organization3. The procurement
documents and the procurement contracts are to be standardized according to the standard
procurement documentation. From this module I have come to know about the procurement
services of the Royal Adelaide hospital and how to make a standard procurement document for
the heath care center.
From the module 5, I have come to know about the vendor and contracting management
of the Royal Adelaide hospital. The contracting as well as the vendor management is a
performance based procurement management process4. I have learnt that projects that needs a
significant effort by project manager. This is because to ensure to meet the requirements as well
as the constraints that are involved while making the contract. The performance based approach
