INTRODUCTION
Project management is specialized software that helps in managing a particular
project in overcoming all the issues in a project. Heavy road congestion problem is select as
an issue of a project in the City of Perth. This report is all about explaining the project by
identifying all the project activities showcases in form of schedule plan. It also highlights
three essential qualities of a manager in successfully completing a project.

In Perth city of the Western Australia, the population is the biggest issue in the city as
it increases the pressure on the city authority in managing all the population. Management of
the population is essential as this helps in distributing public services to all the citizens of
Perth. Increasing number of people in the Perth city creating pressure on the public transports
and roads in form of congestion (Perth's rapidly growing population putting pressure on roads, public
transport, 2014). Length of roads is not sufficient to clear the traffic on roads. People in the
nation face problem while driving on the road as five minutes distance from one location to
another takes around 30 minutes due to heavy congestion on road. Cars and other vehicles in
the city are higher due to a large number of populations as the study says that 108 people
travel daily in cars to roam at various places in or around the Perth City.
A focus of this project resolves the issue of the heavy traffic due to a large number of
population drives on the same road which pressurizes the traffic authority to manage many
people simultaneously.
Project lifecycle
Project manager uses project lifecycle to keep track on the progress of a project
starting from basic to the advanced level in completing all the aims and targets within a given
span of time. Different aspects involved in a project includes risks, cost, quality, time,
performance and overall scope of a project need to define on an initial level to deliver quality
oriented output in the end (Fei, Xue, and Tareef Hayat Khan, 2015). On the basis of time
efficiency of a project is tested as to how long a particular project will complete in a future by

Traffic problem resolve by using road tunnels which are favourable for those people
who are in need as for emergency problems this road will be used by the citizens. Time
