evaluate the progress of the project according to the predetermined timeline with defined
requirements and plans are discussed is project deviates from the determined timeline.
East&Nord llp needs to utilise this methodology as it will ensure timely completion of projects.
Critical Path Method
This method is helpful in management and evaluation of project timeline. This along with
the ability of this framework for identification of necessary operations to avoid failures or risks
make it a significant framework for project management. Construction of critical path by
identifying operations and forming a network of such operations with emphasis on interrelation
between each operations is the basis from completing this project (Anantatmula and Rad, 2018).
The justification for usage of this framework is that it provides East&Nord llp it
graphically represents necessary operations which can effect the overall timeline of the project.
This framework clearly depicts relation between various operation which will help the respective
company complete the project with maximum efficiency. This along with graphical depiction of
various important operations assist the company in staying close to their predetermined timeline
and gaining predefined benefits after the conclusion of the project easily. The project managers

employees. This is because KPI helps in identification of individual contribution of each
employee without any impartiality. Usage of suitable KPI which are approved by every major
stakeholder provides motivational tool which encourages employees to enhance their
contribution and gain rewards after identification through KPI. The respective firm neds to utilise
appropriate KPI in order to monitor and control their project as a offer a detailed image of
current project development and identify the position where the project needs to be (Kerzner,
2018). This helps the company make modifications so that they reach this desired standard of
performance attain goals in a timely manner.
Management by Objectives
This tool involves setting certain objectives and making efforts to attain these objectives
according to the pre defined standards. The main advantage offered by this tool is that it creates a
working environment which is committed to achieving a certain objective, completion of certain
tasks is the main commitment of the project team which ensures swift completion of the project
with emphasis on high quality results. East&Nord llp need to utilise this tool in order to increase
employee motivation (Boyle, 2017). This tool increases awareness of the team about their
achievements which enhances employee motivation. The organisation will also be able to
maintain certain standards of quality by using this tool.
Root cause analysis
This tool helps in identification of inherent risks associated with any project. This
analysis is mostly conducted after the occurrence of issue which threatens the success of the
project and can be considered as a risk. After the identification of this issue investigation related
to finding the root cause responsible for the occurrence of such issue is determined. Finding
primary reason behind the occurrence of such damaging and risky problem helps the company
develop and implement plans for removing them from their root cause. This prevents the project
from facing similar barriers and improves the project structure from further damage (Sreedharan
and Sunder, 2018). East&Nord llp neds to utilise this tool fro controlling and monitoring risks as
it saves times by fixing the main defect responsible for issue. This works as a permanent solution
and reduces overall risk associated with the project.
Risk data quality assessment
This tool involves usage of information collected associated with risk assessment and
uncovers the reliability of that data used for performing risk analysis. The manager is tasked with

ensuring that the quality of information used in risk assessment is not affected by any
prejudiced , is highly accurate and relevant to risk amassment .The main idea behind the usage of
this tool is that if the information used fro risk assessment is incorrect, risk assessment will not
yield favourable result. The respective organisation neds to utilise this tool for measuring and
controlling risk as it enhances the overall process of risk analysis and helps the company identify
risks accurately (Dykstra, 2018). The organisation will be able to identify and remove various
risks associated with their project and deliver desire results swiftly.
Pareto Diagram
This is a unique vertical chart which is separated into categories which cover every
possibility related to decline in quality of a project. Categories which have high rate are depicted
on the right side of the graph and categories with low frequency are depicted on the right side.
The main principle behind this chart is the 80/20 rule which states that 80 defects in quality arise
from 20 causes. This diagram highlights the main reasons behind most of the defect and helps
the company eliminate them before they reduce the benefits of the project and deviate the
timeline from the original plan (Anantatmula and Rad, 2018). The respective company needs to
utilise this tool for quality control and monitoring high standards outcome after completion of
each phase of the project.
Evaluation of project success & failure and disseminate the learning points from the delivery of
project
The success of the project is dependent on various variables. These variables maintain
effective workflow and high efficiency which results gaining desired objectives as the project
follows the path of the plan which was constructed at the beginning. Various factors which
contribute to the sauces of project are defined below: Competent managers: This elements is a significant contributor to the success of the
project. Competent managers which have experience in the field can face various
challenges and growth barriers which decreases delays and ensures timely completion
of each stage (Kerzner, HaroldNicholas and Steyn, 2017). Apart form this competent
managers ensure that every employee is working to their highest potential which
increases quality and speed of the project. East&Nord needs to employee competent
managers which have certain experience in this field and are passionate about the end

goal of the project, this will encourage the employees to increase their performance and
result in planned completion of the project.
Effective communication: Clear communication between every team member is major
factor which results in the success of the project. As every employee understands their
role in completion of the project and effectively informs their ideas, the team is able to
resolve issues and delays quickly. The respective enterprise needs to develop effective
communication strategy fro successfully completion of this project (Peña and Muñoz,
2020). Effective communication is even more important for this company as it operates
in storage industry where success is dependent on effective communication between
various employees as they have to deliver their services in a timely manner.
Apart from this various factors are the basis of failure of the project . In order to gain
desired results from the project the organisation needs to understand such factors and ensure their
elimination. Such factors are mentioned below: Regular delays: This factor occurs as a result of infective time management. Regular
delays result in project deviating from the planned timeline which affects the outcome.
Such delays decrease benefits and hinder the company from gaining highest profitability
from their efforts (Verzuh, 2021). The respective company needs to review their project
phases to eliminate such factors and achieve their objectives as planned.
Ineffective allocation of resources: This factor arises due to unplanned allotment of
resources. This factor results in decrease in quality and as some part of the team do not
have access to required resources regular delays occur. This is a highly disadvantageous
factor as both the quality and time schedule deviate from their planned standards
(Pellerin and Perrier, 2019). The respective firm needs to utilise various project
management tools to ensure suitable distribution of sources so the the company
completes the tasks effectively and has resources if unexpected issues occur.
