EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In the following report, there is discussion regarding the project which is associated with
the reconstruction of the classrooms and laboratories alongwith new cafeteria in the university.
There is discussion about the fund and resources required for completing the project. In context
of the present project, there is discussion that there is an event going to take place and because of
this there is need of properly managing the project work and activities. The amount of fund
present with the university is 50000.

INTRODUCTION
The concept of project management is associated with the method of producing various
tasks and activities in order to complete the project in an effective manner. There are different
activities and tasks organised for completing the project work. Any company or organisation
needs enough funds and resources for conducting the research work effectively. It is the
responsibility of project manager to complete the project work as per required parameters. This
is a report which talks about various project activities needed for conducting the project of
college reconstruction and building of new cafeteria effectively. There is information related to
work breakdown structure, budget an risk of project and details of project completion.

Project initiation document
There is a initiation document required for managing the work effectively and conducting
the business work properly. It is very important as this is needed for completing the project tasks
in proper time. The initiation document provides evaluation and analysis of project completion.
If there is need of a successful project completion, then it is required that there must be a project
initiation document (Alsudiri, Al-Karaghouli, and Eldabi, 2013). It helps in implementing the
strategies and plans properly in order to complete the research or project. This document consists
of managing details and information related to budgetary data, actual data, timescale, research
approach, smart aims and objectives, etc. It is essential for the project manager to conduct the
activities and tasks effectively for managing the work. The objectives of present project related
to the reconstruction of classrooms and laboratories is described below -

managers for completing the project work. In the context of present scenario, there is an event
organised in the upcoming month and for this classroom and laboratories are reconstructed. A
timescale is prepared for completing the project work appropriately. This project of constructing
laboratories and classrooms alongwith cafeteria will start on 1st September. This project will
finish on 30th September (Davis, 2014). In this week, university is planning to organise a
successful event in which there will be well constructed laboratories and classrooms.
Approaches

This is defined as the way which includes procedures and plans for completing the
project effectively. There is need for accomplishing the goals and objectives in specified time
frame. There is need of managing the research activities and plans appropriately so that proper
funds and investments are there for reconstructing classrooms and laboratories. New event is
going to happen in the the university and for this there is construction for new classrooms and
laboratories and cafeteria that will consist of new menu. This will help in attracting more
number of audience. It also consists of providing hoardings at public places, providing videos,

Work Break down structure
WBS is defined as the procedure of conducting research effectively and evaluating the
project activities properly (Glukhov, Ilin, and Levina, 2015). There is need to complete the
project work properly so that there is success within project. The project managers have the
responsibility to conduct the project work properly and achieve the successful projects. The main
objective of work break down structure is to divide the whole project into different small tasks
and activities. This project has a time spam of one month. There are different factors which are
involved in the completion of project. The different tasks involved in this project are mentioned
below -
Marketing- This department is known for plans and procedures associated with
marketing of plan. There is need to have good promotion and advertising of known as the most
essential task which has to be followed for managing promotions of project work in appropriate
manner (Kendrick, 2013). The university is conducting effective marketing strategies for
attracting more number of audience and people.
Financing- This is associated with planning and preparing for the funds and money
needed for completing the project work and activities.
Quality- It is ensured that project is of good quality and al the work is done properly .
This will help to manage the accomplishment of company goals effectively. This is required that
project is done properly and all the activities are accomplished.
There is research done before completing the project activities. It is concluded that
research activities and tasks are completed effectively for managing the project activities and
tasks. It is essential to conduct the project activities properly so that reconstruction of classrooms
and laboratories will be done properly (Kerzner, 2015). There is a summary prepared for
completing the research work. This consists of following factors -

Marketing- There is need of marketing in order to enhance brand reputation and value of

laboratories, demo sessions will be arranged that will enhance learning experience of students.
