12
Document Page
A project management is the effective process in which activities take place in steps so
that project work can be manage properly.
Prince 2 is one of the effective project management methodology whereas Agile and
Waterfall are the development approaches with different principles and processes. By doing this,
project manager has a proven framework, guiding principles and standardised templates.
Agile development approach is used by the organisation because it is more efficient due
to presence of software. With its implementation company would be able to transform its
business process and make changes according to project management. This approach also
delivers working software more quickly to the customers, making it ideal for projects in which
speed is of the essence (Young, 2016). Another advantage in agile is the concept of continuous
improvement and focusses on reducing wastage.
Waterfall development project- It is one of the traditional and liner approach in which
team focus on understanding the project rather than software. It is one of the expensive method
as the developer do not produce work software for customers. The advantage of following this
method will be that tasks and activities are completed on time.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that project management helps the
organisation in utilizing their resources in an efficient manner so that it can achieve its
organisation goals and increase its profitability it helps the business to plan its strategies
according to the market demand so that its sell can be increased in the market and more profit
can be generated.
