Throughout the learning course of project management, the main thing that I have learnt
is that, in order to govern and lead any project towards the primary project objectives, goal and
aim the any project required to be managed well. The project management prcatices is
comprises of different phases like project initiation, planning, project execution, monitoring and
control and project closure. I have learnt that each of the project management phases are
internally connected to each other and the output of one phase is inserted as the input for the next
phase. The project supervisor and the team must follow the project management principle
throughout the project development life cycle period. Though, before commence of any project
the supervisor should approve the project charter.
I feel that the responsibility of the project team is to accomplish the project within the
assigned timeline and budget without to avoid overrunning budget, over allocation of resources
and time as well. Different project development life cycle such as agile, waterfall, scrum etc are
there, based on the project details including types and size the project developers should select ne
development model to implement project. I have realized that in order to implement any project
the project supervisor and team associates are required to use proper managerial tools and
techniques as well. In addition to this, different project management software tool are also there
those are widely used b the project supervisor and their associates to meet the project objectives.
The project associates are also required to track the project progress to make ensure its
sustainability and success as well.
