The selected organization is operating business in different engineering backgrounds
that involve civil and information technology development. The top management and board
members are having concern over development of business in other areas by undertaking the
new projects that are related to the engineering discipline. Following are the three major
projects that nominated for ABC construction organization:
Project A: This project is related to the development of new asset management information
system for the organization to manage the data. This project is bit complex and requires the
development of subsystems and integration of different internal functions that could be useful
for managing the business process. The project A is designed and developed by the expert
team that has experience and knowledge about the use of information technology. The
successful completion and implementation of information system will help the ABC
organization to increase the effectiveness of asset management and sharing of the information
through online media which will support to overcome the internal expenses of organization
and increase the monitoring (Andriof and et al., 2017). Apart from that, the differences in the

Project B: The project is nominated for developing the remote area within the ABC
construction organization that involves various risks and operations that delaying it. This
project is large and having complex actions that need to be performed by the expert team.
This project is based on civil engineering tasks that will help to improve the performance of
the organization is working. In spite of that, the delay from the supplier side is affecting the
progress of the project. The major issues found in this project is lack of planning, risk

managing time and standards that required by the organization. The major objectives of this
project are to increase strategic direction of engineering organization and development of
effective communication. The level of complexity is high as it involves different sub systems
and functions that might influence the approach of project management. The modification
and changes in technology are also having significant impact on the effectiveness and
selection of project management approach. The project team is working hard to analyze
specific functions of organization regarding the current project and development of plan to
deliver sustainable information project (Teller and et al., 2014). The upcoming issues in
information management system involve design and testing of functions according to need of
organization and utilization of software. Moreover, lack of skilled labor and training to staff
members will be major issue for the current project. For example, changes in software
requirements will influence the scope and development of project.
Project B:
The project is about development of remote areas for organization to increase the
effectiveness of ABC construction organization in managing the coordination with the
stakeholders. The organization belongs to engineering discipline and the development of
remote area will help the organization to manage the operations through virtual assistance
and achievement of goals and objective. For managing this project, the organization is facing
issues like high exchange rate, frequent changes in the schedule of tasks and engagement of

influencing the approach of implementing changes in particular function to overcome issue.
The consideration of technology and training to the team members will help to manage the
complexity level (Webb, 2017). For example, the changes in scope and technical functions

specification of project. In the upcoming years, the project manager will also face issues
regarding management of cost as the prices of resources are increasing and affecting the

The project is based on design and implementation of infrastructure within ABC
construction organization for expanding the business and managing internal and external
operations. The major issues that could impact the sustainability of project are changes in
environmental and social conditions, lack of knowledge about rules and regulations as well
involvement of stakeholders. In addition to this, the cost of human resources and technical
resources are increasing and having negative impact on feasibility of completing the project
in estimated time and cost. As the cost of labor is increasing the cost of project will be high.
Moreover, for design and implementation of infrastructure the use of project management
approaches is essential (Turner, 2016). For instance, for project manager, it will be difficult to
manage the cost of labor as client organization cannot compromise in quality so it is
important for manager to maintain the standards in design and development of infrastructure.

to overcome the issues by developing the plan for developing and implementing asset

professional manner. The analysis of changes and determination of a fix plan for controlling
and managing tasks is required to increase transparency and help the stakeholder to

overcome the delay in supply of the products and services to complete the project. For
implementation of changes the project manager needs to communicate with the suppliers and
use of Just-In-Time process for ordering the raw material will be beneficial. Moreover, use of
technical tool for managing operations will help to reduce the cost of labor and craft
improvement in the quality of remote area services. Moreover, the project manager is
working on these issues to complete the project on time and estimated cost (Marcelino-
Sádaba and et al., 2014). The communication with the supplier is also low that influencing
the integration of project operations.
Project C:
The major issue for this project is proper consideration of environmental standard and
activities of stakeholders. The delay in project is affecting cost and satisfaction level of ABC
construction organization. The development of plan for managing and implementing the
project, it is essential for project manager to engage the stakeholders. The use of stakeholder
mapping techniques will help to analyze the needs of stakeholders and development of
strategy that could help to involve them. The changes in project have to be managed
according to environmental conditions and social impact. For this project the manager is
going to use traditional approach and coherence of traditional approach with advance
technical resources will be needful (Vijayasarathy and Butler, 2016). The communication
among stakeholders is essential that will help to increase efficiency in work. For that purpose,
the project manager will use stakeholder communication matrix which will support to

manage the project issues and elimination of risks. The consideration of change control
requirements will also support to manage the changes and submit the review request. The
execution of plan and selection of design and engineering discipline of organization will be
achieved through consideration of contracting terms and conditions that need to be

meeting with them will help to anticipate the needs and objectives of them to develop
planning and scheduling of tasks. The project manager would be expert in scheduling of tasks
and use of project management software to develop the network to allocate the resources. The
consideration of theses tool is beneficial for scheduling of tasks (Gollenia, 2016).
In the big project risk management and development of strategy is essential that will
support to complete the project in estimated budget. This skill of project manager helps to
increase the efficiency and effectiveness of project operation and final deliverables as per the
required standards. The technical advancement is having significant impact on quality and
approach of project functions. The project manager of current scenario must be
knowledgeable about the tools and technologies that used for managing projects like PRINCE
2, Adaptive Framework and development of network diagram. In spite of that, skills of

tools and technical function cannot offer the information about negative impact as well lacks
in anticipation of changes. The skills and knowledge of project manager is beneficial for
organization in many ways. The forecasting and planning of project activities are one of the
major tasks for project manager to minimize the time and cost of the on-going activities. The
manager will involve alternative options for developing infrastructure and acquiring
sufficient information related to project. Now, prior communication and consideration of
stakeholder interest will help to achieve the objectives by using adaptive framework approach
