I have gone through the post and found it really interesting. I have been able to
understand about all the different kinds of reporting that are involved in the making of a project.
I want to thank you for adding such great detail in a precise way. I was always in a state of
confusion regarding the difference between a reporting made to the teams, sponsor, and
steering committee (Keil et al., 2014). As I want to establish myself as a project manager in the
near future this post will really help me a lot.
I have gained a good amount of knowledge regarding the different qualities to look for in
different projects. Your post has helped me to understand that a team report will contain detailed
information about the individual members and the task assigned. Reports for the sponsors and
steering committees will have vital financial data or information about long term milestones
(Nalewaik & Witt, 2009). In the future while taking the project updates I will look for all the
different parameters in the different projects without jumbling them up. I will make it a point to
make updates on a weekly basis so that I can provide apt solutions for different stakeholders in
the organization.
