Quality Management
Quality control and management includes performance of project, durability in the
project and the fitness purpose. The project quality control includes process of quality
management that helps to complete the project with the required specification that are provided
by the clients (Newton 2016). The quality that is included in project is architectural quality,
functionality of project, accessibility of project, and cost-efficiency for the project.
Risk Management
The risks included in Royale Pizza renovation project are:
Document Page
14PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Technical risks: There is technical risks in the project that is to be restricted while
developing the project (Kerzner 2017). Technical risk includes uncertainty of all the resources as
well as availability of the materials in the project. Incomplete design can also be referred to as
the technical risks.
Logistical Risks: There can also be logistical risks that are needed to be addressed in a
project. Logistical risks include transportation facilities as well as equipment availability in the
project.
Management Risks: This includes uncertain resource productivity are to be managed by
the management.
Stakeholder Management
Managing the stakeholders includes relationships between organization and between
groups they work for. The stakeholder management impacts the individual and have both
positive and negative influence on project (Heagney 2016). There is internal stakeholders and
external stakeholders in the project. Internal stakeholders includes owner of Royale Pizza who
provides funding for the project. External stakeholders includes customers, and all other
resources included in project. The success rate of the project is reduced if the stakeholders are
managed ineffectively. Effective stakeholder management includes multiple expectations and
that cannot be achieved at same time.
Project Performance Evaluation
Implementation of SIPOC Model
This model would help project manager that describes the transformation process that is
within the company. SIPOC model helps to process improvement that helps in summarizing all
Document Page
15PROJECT MANAGEMENT
the input as well as output that are included in multiple processes. SIPOC includes suppliers,
inputs, process, output, as well as customers included in project. The SIPOC model helps in
project transformation that states the parties are involved (Gueorguiev 2018). The supplier
includes raw materials as well as includes semi-finished products, includes expertise tailored as
well as knowledge that are needed in a company. This model helps to prevent all the parts that
are included in transformation process that are overlooked (Brown 2019). This helps to clarify all
the process that the employees have and includes transformation of the final product. SIPOC also
helps the employees to define a new process clearly in the project.
Methods for project evaluation
Project evaluation includes more assessment that is to be provided in the project.
Evaluation of project means evaluating all the stages included in the project. That includes
planning, implementation phase and monitoring phase. Project evaluation helps in process of
decision making (Fewings and Henjewele 2019). There are two types of project evaluation; static
project evaluation and dynamic project evaluation. Static methods includes accessing project
effectiveness for investment of the projects that helps in defining the annual relationship in the
project. Static methods is simple and helps in easy communication. In dynamic method of project
evaluation, different methods are used to evaluate the project. Dynamic method includes Return
of Investment, payback method, net present value and internal rate of return.
The evaluation method that is included in renovating Royale Pizza is payback method.
This is calculated as the total time or the total number of years that states summation of
discounted net revenues is equal with the total cost included in the project (Meredith, Mantel and
Shafer 2017). This method suggests that if one number in a project is selected, then project with
minimum payback period is to be implemented.

16PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Project quality management
The quality of a project includes all processes as well as activities that helps to configure
as well as achieve the total project deliverables quality. Project quality depends on need of
customer and includes need of stakeholders from project deliverables. There are certain factors
that are to be included while considering the quality of the project. This includes customer
satisfaction, prevent over inspection, and helps in continuous inspection (Marchewka 2016).
Customer satisfaction is directly related with quality and managing the quality helps to improve
customer satisfaction. Prevention over inspection includes preventive cost and the internal failure
costs. There is also continuous improvement needed which consists of continuous improvements
of project deliverables that comes over time.
For implementing project quality management, three steps are to be used in project, Plan
quality of the project, provide quality assurance and includes quality control in project. Plan
quality helps to identify project requirements and define how the project can be managed. Plan
quality includes quality checklist that helps to collect as well as organize all marks that helps to
complete the project (Young 2016). Project assurance states that processes included in the
project deliverables meets the quality requirement. This includes project audit and checklists of
all the processes that are included in the project. Checking the quality control helps to check the
project deliverables in process of project management that helps to adjust the deliverables of the
project.
Project Closure
Document Page
17PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Tools used for project closure
The closing phase is the last phase in project development and includes culmination of
phases in project life cycle or helps to complete project. Finalizing all activities that are in the
process groups helps to complete the project formally (Harrison and Lock 2017). Closing a phase
in the project or the entire project, it is needed to complete project deliverables and while project
completion, all project deliverables are to be approved and includes the final product is to be
accepted. There are organizational process assets that describes the phases as well as guidelines
of project closure. The criteria included are performance review, updates of project management
plan, updates on project document, and the lessons that are learned after completion of the
project.
Post project planning
Post project planning helps to evaluate the project objectives and state whether the
objectives of the project are set or not. Post project plan helps to evaluate the effectiveness of the
project and how it was managed. Post project implementation helps in avoiding mistakes in the
future projects and helps to learn the project in a better way (Kissi et al. 2019). This is
considered as the last step that is needed to be implemented in a project and is usually connected
with independent party which acts more objectively so that determinations can be made while
project is running. Post project planning provides stakeholders a confidence to know about the
objective of project and check whether project objectives are met or not. There are certain
method that can be used for post project planning (Mateo 2016). The methods are gap analysis,
project goals, stakeholders, project cost, project benefits, lessons learnt and the project report.
The method that is included in renovating Royale Pizza benefits that the food industry
has achieved after the implementation of project. The aim of project was to improve the business

profitability by 25% and increase customer satisfaction. It is to be analyzed that if customers are
satisfied with the service that is provided by the industry and food industry has increased its
profit percentage or not. Benefit method of post project planning also helps to find out the
changes that are required to maximize the project result.
