Introduction
The project which has been selected is Project Scrum team and the leader of the team is Jonathan
Walker. The project aims at operating the resource management for the production. The
following report will highlight a few critical aspects of the project management which is
essential for successful attainment of a project.
Discussion
The two operations of the company which can be outsourced for better business results include
development of the communication plan for the organization to manage the communication
between the employees in a better way; and organization of training session for the members of
the company. The reason for outsourcing the responsibility of the developing an effective
communication is that there is no member of the business expert in this HR function and an
effective communication plan is required to maintain coordination between the activities of the
team members and increase the productivity. Training of the project managers in the initial level
will enhance the leadership skills and thus, provide better results for the company.
As per the analysis, the resource allocation and the problem resolution of the customers are the
two tasks which are supposed to function as per the pre-determined schedule. However, the
problem resolution function of the team might require some additional efforts to stay within time
schedules. These are the two tasks we are concerned to keep within the bounds of time and
money as they are two primary function of our company. If these operations are not carried out
on time, the entire functioning of the company will be disrupted (Schiff, 2017).
To monitor the status of the project, the evaluation measures will be taken at the completion of
every step mentioned in the Gantt chart and WBS to predict the discrepancies in the beginning

before they become impossible to be resolved. As a project manager, I will make sure that the
project completes within determined schedules by keeping the documentation of all stakeholder
documents perfect, setting and acknowledging the milestones, providing regular reports on
project success to the stakeholders; and predicting and planning for the potential conflicts
(MindTools, 2019; University of Minnesota., 2019).
The six project closure steps which will be undertaken include (Kanda, 2011):
1. Ensuring that all the project deliverables are completed as well as delivered to the customers
2. Completing all the pending payments to the partners and suppliers and completing the
procurement process
3. Gaining the formal acceptance from the customers in the form of a written document
4. Calculation and recording of the final performance of the project in terms of cost
performance, quality performance and schedule performance
5. All the documents related to the project must be archived in the company records and index
must be created to facilitate their retrieval when required
6. After the successful completion of the project, the project resources must be release.
Conclusion
The above report presented that the communication plan development and training of the
managers must be outsourced to manage the relations and conflicts between the team members
and improve their skills. The report also presented the critical steps of the project and the steps
project manager can take to ensure scheduled completion of the project.
