1. Introduction
Deakin University has decided to start a project for building a shed on a piece of property
in the university backyard. However, this property is not entirely a level land and contains some
existing concrete structures over it (Hardin and McCool 2015). Hence, before starting
construction on the property, the existing concrete structures are to be demolished and the land is
to be flattened. As per the proposed design of the shed, a 3D virtual model has been developed
using the aid of modeling software and the real shed is to be built as per this model.
This report is mainly based on the analysis of the case study to identify the challenges
and the project team that will be deployed for the project. Furthermore, a brief project plan has
been developed including a suitable timeline for the demolition and construction works in the
project.

Based on the analysis of the case, it can be seen that there are a number of operational
and strategic challenges associated that should also be addressed in due course of this project

5. Project Management Plan
5.1 Background of the Project
