Managing project change is not an easy task as it may sound to a layperson. The
occurrence of project change in project management is critical because it could result in late
delivery of a project as well as spending more than the initially outlined budget. As a result,
this leads to the project experiencing heavy penalties as well as loss of trust in the project
manager. Nevertheless, most project hardly get accomplished without facing changes to the
original baseline plan (Harrison, & Lock, 2017). Therefore, to avoid changes in the course of
a project I would suggest that before the kicking off a project the project manager, their team
and stakeholders should work to see to it that all the requirements have been outlined to avoid
cases of changes in the project because it brings a lot of shortcomings which comes with
severe penalties to the project.
Project management process is a significant part of the project because it is the heart
of any successful project. Project management process helps to divide the project into
segments through an administrative procedure to aid in the planning as well as control of
different project tasks. It should be noted that the process of project management starts as
soon as the project is approved by the customer. Therefore, the process involves various
divisions like project documentation, project management methods, project plans, execution
and designing among others (Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). Consequently, I agree that project
management process is significant because it makes sure that a project delivered project is
right and deliver the actual project value against the business opportunity. However, this calls
for leadership as well as direction to projects. Similarly, project life cycle help to ensure that
all project activities are successfully accomplished by splitting them into small manageable
phases.
Project management integration is set of process that is needed to ensure that the
project’s different components are well-coordinated. The integration entails making trade-
offs in competing objectives of a project and providing of alternatives to realise or surpass the

needs and expectations of the project stakeholders (Harrison, & Lock, 2017). Thus, I agree
that integration management is a core tool towards successful project delivery since it
comprises of project plan development, project execution as well as integrated change
control.
The success of a project also depends upon enterprise environmental factors therefore
as a project manager I would recommend that one should strive to become aware of these
factors since these elements have a significant impact on a project. Failure to act in advance
could result in the slowing down of a project which in the long run could impact the outcome
of the project product (Harrison, & Lock, 2017). Some of the environmental aspects that
greatly affects the project success include organisational culture governance and structure, the
standards of the industry, the political climate and the marketplace conditions.
On the other hand, the success of a project calls for the help of project stakeholders.
Most of the projects have been failing because the deliverables are not what was asked for by
the client. To be able to realise success in a project the project manager should ensure that it
understands all its chief stakeholders (Kerzner, & Kerzner, 2017). Involving stakeholders
from the starts help to reduce and unmask project risks. Accordingly, project managers
should be able to observe communication throughout the different project tasks. Thus, I agree
that effective communications are key to the success of any global project. Consequently, I
have found project management a significant course that can play a big role in ensuring
successful delivery of projects.
