INTRODUCTION
Project refers to the task of the company which is soon going to be initiated or already started by
the company. Management of a project refers to the guides which helps the project manager in
completing and managing the activities required to complete the project successfully. In order to
manage the project effectively and efficiently, it is important to give attention to details of the
project which can provide benefit or loss to the project or the company (Otra-Aho and et. al.,
2019). In context to Transport for London, it is a company which are undertaking the projects
related to road constructions and are aiming to create more greener, safer and efficient roads for
the people. In the given report, a development process of the project will be provided along with
which shareholders analysis as well as organisational structure will be provided. This report
covers analysis of possible risk which are needed to be taken in to consideration while preparing
for the project also description about quality expectations and specifications will be provided.
MAIN BODY
Task 1
Developing network diagram
Network diagram helps the organisation in understanding several events and activities of
the project. It helps in understanding the efficient way of completing the task in a specific time
period and will also help the company in making connection in between the different activities of
the project (Jin and et. al., 2018). It is a visual presentation of the essential activities of the
project along with the time duration they are going to take in order to complete. The network

can achieve or complete the project is depicted via blue line. The shortest path through which the

Stakeholder analysis for the project
Stakeholders analysis is a framework that helps in understanding the interest of different
stakeholders on the project of the company. It is important to analyse the interest as it helps in
getting approval and winning the support of key stakeholders of the project (Beister and
Zeljkovic., 2021). It makes it easy to target stakeholders which can help in supporting the idea
and initiating the proposed project. It is important to assess the ways in which the interest of
these stakeholders are needed to be addressed. Several stakeholders for the company are Town
hall committee, investors, audience, organisers and participants which will help the company in

High power and high interest: Investors basically have high interest and high power in
the project as they are the one who are going to invest their money in the project and are going to
suffer if the project fails. It is important for the management to put additional focus on these
stakeholders.
Low power and low interest: Audience is categorised in this group (Perkins and et. al.,
2019). It is important for the management to make sure that they are satisfied with the plan but
excessive time and should not be allocated to this group.
High power and low interest: Town hall committee people are least interested in the
project as they have nothing to do with the main project but they have high power as anniversary
will be celebrated in their hall or venue.
Low power and high interest: Organisers and participants of the celebration are highly
interested in the event as they are performing in that event but are having least amount of power
as they will not be able to change anything in the event and its activities.
Task 3
Developing numbered breakdown structure and organisational structure
Work breakdown structure is a system which helps in managing the project effectively
and efficiently. It helps the management team to breakdown the whole project in smaller
components or tasks which can be allocated to responsible person (Baldwin., 2019). It divides

the whole work into smaller divisions which are easy to manage and the collective set of the
divided activities helps in completing the project effectively and efficiently.
Organisational structure refers to the a system which helps in analysing all the activities
that are needed to be done in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the company
(Davidson., 2019). It is important for the organisation to make sure information is flowing
smoothly in between the levels of the company as the activities of organisation structure includes
roles, rules and responsibilities associated with the project.

planning for an event, it is important for the company to make sure that the event is according or
up to the expectations of the stakeholders as it will help them in raising funds. As the playwright
of the event is William G. Gilbert and the composer is Arthur Sullivan, it is expected to be a
good event as the organizers are staging of one of the famous operettas. Also it is important for
the organizers to keep a close check on the sanitation of the venue and hygiene of food so that
the guest does not have to suffer.

Critical analysis for what methodology would be appropriate for the project.
Project methodology refers to the set of processes which helps in managing the project.
The first and foremost decision of a project manager is to analyse and select project methodology
which is proper and apt for the project of the company. According to the event, it will be
beneficial to choose Critical path theory as it helps the project manger in analysing the deadlines
of important projects and helps in working promptly (Kang and et. al., 2021). As the event is
needed to be scheduled according to the time allotted to each activity, it is important for the
manager to make sure that timelines are met and event is activities are taking place according to
the schedule. One of the major drawback of this methodology is that the schedule is to be made

by the experts or professionals and predictions can be wrong sometimes so proper control over
the activities are required.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that, managing an event is an important task and is
needed to be done efficiently and effectively. Proper time schedules should be made and
allocation of appropriate tine must be done. In order to avoid cluster or mismanagement, it is
important to give attention to details which will further help in completion of activities
accurately. The report includes a network diagram which will help in analysing the subdivision
of different activities that are needed to be completed for the completion of project.
