Introduction
The following task is based on the determination of the implementation of a growth plan
for the business of Orange Telecommunication Corporation based in France. The plan will
recommend the ways to achieve a selected percentage of sales growth over the coming years.
The plan will also include the necessary processes that will be implemented by the business
organization to gain the support of the stakeholders of the business organization.
Overview of the Company
Orange S.A formerly known as France Telecom S.A is a French multinational
telecommunications corporation. The company is one of the largest organizations of France and
has a huge customer base of more than 250 million people globally (orange.com 2019). The
company employs close to 1, 00,000 people only in France and more than 60,000 people
elsewhere. The company has the reputation of being the 12th largest mobile network operator of
the globe and the fourth largest telecommunication company of Europe just after Vodafone,
Telefonica and VEON (orange.com 2019). The Company earns revenue of more than €40 billion
and has global assets worth around 96 billion. This proves the strength and capacity of the
organization and makes it one of the most influential companies across Europe.
Sales Growth Plan of the Company
The management of the Orange Company has selected a set of goals that is essential for
the overall development of the company and is responsible for the sales growth of the business
organization. The management of the company has created a plan named Essential 2020 plan
that aims to increase the sales revenue of the company by increasing the business growth

(Milosevic Jurcic and Kozina 2016). The Essential 2020 Plan reaffirms the strategy of the
company to differentiate itself through the quality of the networks and customer experience and
has set itself new operational performance objectives. The main aim of the business organization
is to reinforce the excellence of the different kinds of the networks and offer enriched services.
The implementation of the plan in a proper way can ensure the success of the business
organization. The acceleration of the operational performance of the group can be highlighted by
means of the deployment of the fiber in France (Manetti Bellucci Como and Bagnoli 2015). The
deployment of the fiber in France is now more ahead of schedule that allows Orange to plan for
20 million FTTH connected households in high density as well as medium density by the year
2021. On the other hand, the company has targeted the growth of 30% network and infrastructure
coverage in the less dense areas and the areas which are often inaccessible.
The steps that will be taken by the management of the company to increase the sales by
focusing on the fiber sales are as follows;
a. Orange is currently the leader in Europe in the sales and installation of fiber with 25
million FTTH connectable households. The increase of the FTTH connection from 7
million to a whooping 25 million predicts a huge growth in the coming years
b. The company is the leader in 4G and has a large base of 4G customers under its belt.
Though the company has its customers spread over Africa and the Middle East. The
management of the organization has planned to expand their services to new markets in
South East Asia where the 4G market has been offering ample opportunity
c. The management of the company has also plans to expand its presence by means of
constructing an extended network coverage by means of building an integrated and

Internal Workforce Growth of the Company
The internal workforce growth of the company is one of the most important elements that
generally lead to the success of the business enterprise. The management of the company has
decided to organization has decided to undertake a massive growth policy for the increase in the
internal staffs of the organization (Hong Lee Mynatt and Ramakrishnan 2018). The increase in
the internal staffs will lead to the increase in the productivity of the business organization. The
increase in the productivity of the organization will make Orange a massive telecommunication
operator of Europe as well as the globe. The Company has decided to increase the workforce by
undertaking a number of different steps. This includes the likes of;
a. Increasing the internal communication within the company- According to, (Cao and Li
2015) the increase in the internal communication within the company is one of the most
essential steps that need to be undertaken by the management of Orange Corporation. The
corporation will have to enhance the employee communication process by increasing the
employee engagement tactics.
b. Engagement- Some of the employees are too much engaged with the company. They do
not need any motivation or other forms of constructive activities to stay engaged. These
people are in roles where they are able to engage themselves and serve the company in
the perfect manner. These people are more likely to become emerging leaders and will be
able to stay with an organization that is much longer than the employees who are
disengaged with the business organization.
c. Leadership presence- The management of the Orange Corporation has to ensure the
presence of effective leaders within the business enterprise in order to ensure the success
of the business accordingly (Baumgartner Hatami and De Uster 2016). The leaders who

will be appointed will have the quality in them to appoint or hire the best people as the
managers and make them understand about the needs and demands of the company. The
Essential 20202 plan will have the clause of engaging the best leaders within the business
organization to choose the best persons from the market as managers or supervisors.
d. Selection of the employees for new roles- The capacity increasing program of the
business will involve the likes of the selection of the people for new roles. People with
special expertise will be selected for these roles. The selection of employees over the
coming two years will lead to a increase in the capacity of the workforce.
Demonstration of the Plan to Stakeholders
The stakeholders of the business are the most important persons in terms of any kinds of
decisions taken by the management. The stakeholders must be updated about the decisions and
their consent is very much important for the success of the success of the business. A project is
successful when it is able to achieve the different kind of objectives and meet the needs and
expectations of the stakeholders (Punjaisri and Wilson 2017). The stakeholders of Orange
Corporation must be informed about the new changes and the plan of the management to
gradually increase the growth of the sales. The sponsor of the project along with the employees,
contractors, business partners must be assembled together and a meeting can be called to brief
them out about all the different business plans.
