2DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Introduction
The notable determination of the report is to evaluate the development of a project
management system considering both it’s non-functional as well as functional resources.
Detailed description of the software will be presented in this report considering the risks and risk
status. The need for monitoring and tracking the software by the users of the software will also
be determined from this paper [2]. The report will be concluding with a project plan where the
project will be discussed considering the deliverables, assessment of the total cost in terms of the
resources, project schedule, and most of the risks and assumptions associated with the projects.
Project Plan
Description of the project
The new project management system can be very much beneficial to manage each of the
schedules of the project, organization of the project resources can also be done in the new
system, managing all the resources according to their availability is the other essential
functionality of this project [5]. Cost control and budget management are the prime aspects of the
new system as well.
Goals of the project: Reduction of the financial and scheduling constraint will be the
most significant qualities of this project. The new software will not have any sort of
compatibility issue as it can be used in many mobile devices [1]. The specification of the new
software will be very advanced and competitive in nature as compared with the other project
management tools which are used all over the world such as Trello, JIRA, Primavera [3]. The
external deliverables of this project will include the engineering report, design documents,

completed products, technical interpretation, tender document, usability report, service report
and progress report.
Assessment of total cost in terms of resources
The total charge of this project is $43000 USD and the cost of each of the
resources such as project manager, quality analysis team, designer and developer
will be presented in the following table.

Project Scheduling
The software engineering process which will be considered while creating a new project
management system is the waterfall model as this model can be very much useful to manage
each phase of this software development such as planning, designing and development phase [4].
There are lots of complications related with each section of the project such as budget and time

Conclusion
The report is very much beneficial to understand the need of a project management
system, the report also guides the readers to understand the non-functional requirements and
functional requirements such as the integration of multiple projects and user-friendliness of the
software. The risks associated with the creation of a new project management system such as the
technical and procedural risk can also be identified from this report. Monitoring the activity of
each of the resources in this project have been determined from this report as well. The project
plan helps in understanding the detailed description of the new software along with the total cost
required for each of the resources working in this project. The report concludes with the list of
risks and the assumptions which are required to be considered during the development of a new
project management system.
