Project management skills are considered to be one of the most essential concepts as this
helps in ensuring that proper project management knowledge will help in executing the project
successfully without any error. The important project management skills that I have learned
throughout this coursework is that leadership quality and the way critical thinking helps in
developing a project successfully. I have gained huge knowledge regarding the importance of
negotiation while developing a project with proper resources. Before executing a project
efficiently it is important to ensure that all the key risks are identified at early stage. While
executing the project in a group I focused entirely on ensuring that every essential requirement
related to the project are made clear at the scope and objective. For developing tram construction
project it important to ensure that all the essential constraints and components are determined at
early stage. I have ensured that while developing the project, the time period is maintained as
mentioned. The project budget is £350 million and we have strictly maintained the budget.
In addition to this I have ensured that the risks associated with the project are also
determined effectively so that it becomes easy to mitigate the risks. For successfully managing
the budget and time, it is important to use proper scheduling tool. With the successful use o
project management it becomes easy to manage the performance. There is a need to evaluate the
risks that are associated with the project at the early stage so that the chances of project failure
can reduce. The project has ensured that all essential factors are evaluated successfully for
managing the tram construction. I have ensured that the project estimated budget and timeline is
strictly maintained so that it becomes easy to manage the different components of the project.
The project will be carried out with the sponsorship of local council and ministry of transport.
There is a need to evaluate the factors properly so that the project can be managed.

As a project manager it becomes essential to manage the different components related to
the successful development of the project. There is a need to organize the responsibilities within
the team members so that the project can be executed with proper support. Project manager is the
one responsible for organizing thee project components successfully. In order to successfully
execute a project it is important to have equal contribution from team mates. I have learned
throughout the assessment is that it ensures that proper support is offered towards the project
development process. There is a need to organize each component properly so that the overall
performance can be improved. I have learned a lot with the help of this assessment and have also
learnt to manage the team members for working efficiently for achieving the project. Project
management knowledge is crucial for successfully executing the project as this ensures that all
necessary constraints are managed and organized successfully for achieving the target.
