INTRODUCTION
Project management can be defined as application of processes, skills, methods and
experiences that help them to achieve predetermined goals and objectives. It helps to use the
manpower so that real success of the project can be attained. There are some stages that must be
followed in proper manner in order to achieve project goals and objectives (San Cristóbal and
et.al., 2018). The purpose of project management is to successfully complete goals and
objectives so that the stakeholders are satisfied. This report is based on project on transport for
London which aim to create safer, greener and more attractive streets. The benefit will be
beneficial to improve the entire bus network of London. In the starting of this report, there is
discussion related to methodologies of project management. Afterwards, there is formulation of
network diagram as it supports to carry on the project properly and critical path that gives
direction to carry on the project. Stakeholders play a critical role in the project so stakeholders
analysis is one of the important part of this report. Risk analysis and WBS is also done to carry
on this report. In the end of this report, the quality specifications of the project are mentioned.
MAIN BODY
Task 1
Methodologies
For the present project related to transport for London it is necessary to use right method.
For the given task, TFL is being tasked to construct 800 homes by taking care of safety and
greenery. The use of methodology helps to carry on the project in effective manner and achieve
the objectives (Stanitsas, Kirytopoulos and Leopoulos, 2021). It also assist in reducing the risk,
avoid duplication of work and enhance the chances of achieving the goals and objectives. The
methodologies used to carry on this project are as follows:
Agile methodology: The aim of this methodology is to use the resources in effective
manner and derive maximum advantage out of them. The use of agile methodology brings
collaboration and professionalism that assist in carrying the work properly. The team members
are able to work effectively and carry on the work quickly (Chawla and et.al., 2018). This will
help the project managers to carry on the task effectively.
Waterfall methodology: The present methodology helps to divide the project properly
and carry on the goals properly. This also assist the project managers to carry on the path and
